absolute good mobile, no 3G but who cares. really bug free and fast software. you need a dual sim mobile....this is the one to buy.

Adding some more

Philips Xenium X806 looks like Philips Xenium X830 and has similar specs.
The difference being that Philips Xenium X806 is dual sim and X830 is single sim,
They both have the same battery, and same standby time. how is it possible ???

if it is then why not make a tri sim ;)

Yes, there is no mention about this product on the Philips website.
So seems Philips made the specs and then were contemplating if they can actually make it (DUAL SIM AND SUCH A WONDERFUL BATTERY LIFE) or they thought that it would not be able to compete the new upcoming products
but seems this is not produced yet

picture and the specifications here for almost six months but can't see the phone on the market, I think philips forgot to produce this phone

lol, where do you live? jungle?

btw i checked philips website and the phone isn't there yet.
i kinda like it how people keep on commenting that they have such phone when they are not even in the market yet.

If you do not need 3G and 90% of us do not need that,in that case this phone is really worth to consider. very solid build, good bug free software,acceptable 5MP camera, good working dual sim card and almost two weeks battery life.

Can someone tell me if this phone can handle 2 simultaneous calls, one on each SIM card? Can you call without switching SIM cards?

can you help ? does this hand set have password protection when changing from sim to sim (ie, I can let my kids use phone but give no access to my business sim). Also, can you customise sms tones as well as ring tones

the real lifetime on one battery charge is in the daily normal use of the mobile 8.5 days. mobile in use for daily call and sms , no internet accessed during that time.Not bad. I use 16GB card in the phone filled with 13GB MP3 and 1GB movies,all seems to work perfect. Good phone
