Or is my unit just defective?

for those people who have this phone, can you guys please advise us the pro's and con's of this phone? I've heard that this phone can't easily access GPS without going outside a building..

is there any possiblity that the OS of this phone will be upgraded to ICS? hope that the people from Alcatel would consider the upgrade for their phones that have the gingerbread version of the OS..

Phone is ok, quite good value for what it costs. There are 3 problems though:
1. Screen is quite small for browsing and typing is tricky.
2. Very small memory.
3. This is the worst: Visibility in sunny conditions is absolutely terrible!
Mt advice: Don't buy. I wish I didn't.

suppose you want to make a call from the phone book.
how do you select sim 1 or sim 2 to make a call?

Phone is great with resolution, music and internet. But i just i like to ask.. is this upgradable and does this phone supports flash player.. android experts please help..

I miss a lot of calls/sms on sim2 when 3g is active.
I don't have to browse or something, just active so I can get mail.
anyone got the same experience? (and a solution :-)

My 918D that i bought in Netherlands have no secondary camera as mentioned here..anyone knew about this issue?

I have this phone. pretty good but even with screen protector i have real problem actually dragging the screen down to answer calls. as far as i can tell that is the only way to answer. tried an APP called EZanswer but that didnt work. any suggestions??
