I got one of these too, works fine!! But the standby time totally sucks! I got 3 AA batteries because the 'standard' battery was just not working good enough anymore. But when I make 2 phonecalls, 5 minutes in total the batteries are already being low:(

One of the best phones made by Alcatel, wouldnt mind of buying one again, why dont cellphone makers think of making some of these classic phones again maybe with a bit of new technologies like bluetooth camera and etc...

I had this phone. It was my second phone. It had recharge battery and u could use the AAA batteries aswell.

Works with AAA batteries... Works with AAA batteries!?!? Wow, it is the worst phone I ever seen in my life. If I had this one, I think I would use a lot of bateries... And my money?

Do you know if these phones are still on sale. i was hoping to get my Grandaughter one for Christmas 09. i know she likes yellow so what a perfect gift ! . and after reading the feedback that people have left Im pretty confident this phone will keep her safe from those bloody Scoundrels. Also she to is getting ready for BandCamp so Thankyou for the good tips about the behaviour in the shower rooms ! im sure she will be grateful when she doesnt get her face full of Man Hair !

i think this phone is better use as a bludgeoning tool rather than making calls and texts because i too have had the same problem. this one time at band camp, this guy tried to rape me but i bashed him with my phone repeatedlyuntil he let me go and i managed to get away and tell the camp supervisors but any way long story short even tho my phone was covered in blood after a quick clean it worked better actually so yeah i agree with nikki we love you alcatel !!!

I love this handset. I am currently using this its great all i need is a pack of batteries and im ready to rock and roll. Ive had the same problem with mindless theieves trying to steal my brand new phone. and yes i to have found it an amazing weapon and the police never suspect a mobile phone as a murder weapon ! Always thinking !! Alcatel OT Easy WE LOVE YOU !
