Does anyone know if the 8900 records video? My 8320 Curve doesn't support that feature so i had to download an app to get a very basic one going.

well it does not have 3g, but there is a new technology they have been testing in russia and other places around the world called HSCDA converts signal to 4x the speed of edge. This technology is included in the Blackberry 8900 Javelin. I really think this is going to be a great phone and serious hit I am willing to bet its going to be more popular than the bold even though I am a bold owner and soon a 8900 owner maybe next week heheh!

This is a great phone, its like a mini bold! it has a 3.2 auto focus camera which is great. The video quaility plays great. Light weight. Very easy to use. I have got the bold but this is a much better version. This phone also support UMA which the bold doesn't.... Great phone love it to pieces

All of them have been able to play music and videos, as well take some pretty good pictures, for the past 3 years at least. I store music on mine and listen to it in my car over bluetooth link with my stereo.

It will be cheaper than the bold. It doesnt require 3G as it doesnt make video calls and gprs is fast enough for internet roaming. The wifi will be included so this phone will probably be the better out of the blackberry range like the existing curve.
