> In reply to Rick @ 2012-04-01 15:08 from IVyx - click to readI to ran out of space when i upgraded as well, but for some strange reason when i did a factory reset, after some weird glych of an mms that would not go away, the reset seemed to have freed up a lot of space. Now i have more space than i had before the upgrade

Agree with the below comment...however, just need to add. Android ICS v 4.0 is available for this phone after root. Also, if you are a fan of HTC Sense, Android Gingerbread 3.2 is available with HTC sense v3.5. All this will give u heaploads of space for apps. SO FOLKS ROOT AWAY. This is still a great phone to have :)

> In reply to Rick @ 2012-04-01 15:08 from IVyx - click to readThere is an easy(ish) way to solve this
1. Root and unlock bootloader
2. Install CM7
3. Make an sd-ext partition (ROM Manager)
4. Install the app S2E and move your apps to it

Now you'll have up 512MB of extra space for apps :)
Enjoy

The hardware is good.but the worst thing is the battery life..very poor battery. lasts for 2 hours max if u just spend some time with it...and internal memory is also crappy.what a disgrace !

I bought an HTC Desire second-hand from a guy who was short of cash! He really didn't want to sell. It is my first touch screen phone having come from a Nokia E71 that I've had for over 3 years. Now I've figured out how it all works, I like it. I can change batteres, put my own micro SD card with my choice of music, and the Bluetooth works well with everything. Apart from the rather ugly brown colour (which i've covered with a case),can't really find much wrong with it. It certainly is fast.

This phone is really great! this was one of my best mobile phones i had. but unfortunately i already sold my beloved desire for an iPhone 4. even though im on iphone 4 right now, cant help but miss my desire.. all the functionality and interactive widgets(which the ip4 doesnt have) of desire are the best!

Dont hesitate on buying HTC Desire, its blazing fast and its HTC Sense is really visually provocative... plus its Android OS! so you can do almost every tweak you want with your phone.

Hail HTC Desire!

Ah, no, right - you still want to install antivirus software, registry cleaner, internet security thingy...

Please help from audience - what else do people with windows need?

But ICS is still buggy as it's not officially supported.
