I would like to know the current market price of i-mate jam and nokia 7710 in INDIA (MUMBAI). And also which would be preferable to buy . pls do post it as soon as possible.

both companys are actually based in south east asia

o2 is actually based in singapore

imate is based either in maylasia or thailand i cannot remember

all the phones are actually manufactered in tai wan...

well actually it isnt better you get a whole lot of crappy o2 software that you simply dont need i use an imate and have played with alot of o2 minis

id rather be able to decide what apps i use on my pda then have a whole lot of o2 using up my rom

also here you can get an imate with a 256 wifi crad for the same price as an o2 mini...

so basically you pay extra money for an o2 ssoftware which you will prob be able to find on the net for free... jeez thanks o2

wondering where this i-mate came from ?? Izzit the same O2 company or not ?
So confusing cuz i-mate and O2 has the same phones and features. O2 is from UK i believed. Where's i-mate from ? Seems like a lot copy-cats of phone compnaies.

although very similair i mate do not make the xda believe me.... and the o2 xda is a lot better in all respects

Very handy and small
Has a SDIO slot which enables it to use WIFI and other cards.

no there is no voice mail

buy this phone has everything you need

only one complaint no edge gprs class 10 is just a bit to slow

One single great machine for all.I use for almost everything(e-mail ,internet ,fax,mobile phone, modem )strongly recommend for a whole mobile move.....

This pda/phone is made by "HTC" and is called "Magician"!

HTC Magician has been sold off to i-Mate Jam/O2 XDA II Mini/Qtek s100/etc. Those companies simply rebrand it and add additional software. And that is it. They are all exactly the same!

Question about i-Mate, alot of u say the camera quality is bad, so can u take a picture in a well-lit area and upload it here so we can see the results for ourselves? And someone here said the battery was bad, how long does it last with u?
And the audio quality, what makes u think its bad?

i am new to this whole pocket pc thingy.
but im interested in buying this phone, but i have 2 questions, one was asked by a previous poster

can this phone accept 1gb or higher memory cards?

and when the new ms pocket 2005os will be released will i be able to upgrade?
