I'm holding a same Gm 730 But I want to know the which is the right charger and the Battary model for the same. Also I would like to know how to Upgrade it to Win 6.5. I heard that we can also have dual boot with Android installed in Memory card is that true? Please give me solutions and Answers. Thankyou

my battery lasts only about 7 hours even 3g is turned off.

hey there..

i juz bought this LG and it is great..i juz read all of the opinions about the cons and none of them on my LG GM730...beside,i bought this phone about 100dollars and all fucntions are goods...my phone isnt lagging,crash,updated to 6.5,smooth,better than samsung jet which is dying with the symbian,the gprs setting and many more..my LG is completely fine..

RMMS & Videocall can't functioning. Really sucks when trying to configure the setting for MMS.

Only Reliance is Giving GPRS settings for Windows Mobile (6.1,6.5)in India.

Not only for Eigen...any windows mobile can not get GPRS settings from Airtel,Aircel,Vodafone,Idea,Videocon...or any GSM service provider...The manual instructions given in the net are not applicable to a Windows Mobile.This is the FACT.

Otherwise we can browse the net in Eigen by enabling bluetooth synchronisation with other gprs enabled cellphone.OR 3G.

(Remember Eigen is a pocket personal COMPUTER, and a computer needs a connection [either bluetooth or cable] with a GPRS enabled cellphone for wireless browsing.)

really2 regret buying this phone!!!

why?
1)very lagging
2)slow response esp when using LG interface!!!
3)sms freak recommended to search elsewhere.the keyboard sucks!
4)photo sliding always lag and sometime freaze esp when set to 5MP.
5) mms issue with some telco.
6) windows marketplace never success when connecting!
7) very slow when connecting to satellite (gps)
8) lastly i tried to consult with LG malaysia,but none can they helped me.wtf!

for win 7 mobile Microsoft recommends 1ghz processor... even win 6.5 would require 600mhz or 800 mhz processor for quick response

Hey guys,i tried to update my phone to winmo6.5 using the LG software update.but halfway it said cannot connect and the program closed.

Now my phone starts until the windows page but does not go futher.i think my software has been erased.

Any help on this?

Must have programs for LG GM730 EIGEN:
1.NET CF 3.5(download from MSN&install using Activesync)-to run some program files.
2. Opera Mobile 10(download touch screen WM edition from Opera.com,run and enable plugins)-to see the YOU TUBE videos.
3.Flash Lite 2.1-to run .swf files,games.(get it from freewarepocketpc.net)
4.Nitrogen player-audio player(get the player and skins from XDAdevelopers site)
5.TCPMP -video,audio player,image viewer(from aac to flv,jpg etc.)-(get the latest version & its skins from XDAdevelopers site)
6.PocketXpdf-full screen,rotate view of PDF files(download from sourceforge.net)
7.ACR-automatic call recorder (get it from freewarepocketpc.net)
8.BattClock-battery status,time,date,cpu usage,...indicator in the taskbar in all programs(get it from XDAdevelopers or freewarepocketpc)
9.PDA craft paint-easy handwriting & drawing tool(freewarepocketpc)
10.Rotatescreen-rotate the view in any program (even IE,flash games),(get it from freewarepocketpc.net) and
Finally 11. i-phone Today-new homescreen (if you need-get it from XDAdevelopers.com)(In addition get your language fonts & copy to windows/fonts folder)
Note: To avoid system crash-Remember to close the programs by "Quit"button in each program &/or multitasking&-Don't use 'X'button.
If all the above programs are installed (and customised for your needs) on your EIGEN,then you are the most proud cellphone user in the world. No need of upgrade or anything.
