Nothing confirmed yet, but if the Verizon Droid 4 XT894 gets it's GSM radio enabled by Verizon, why not just get that one? Don't even have to root and mod it yourself anymore.

It's possible to modify it yourself, or if you get a Verizon set or Verizon ROM, they will be enabling the GSM capabilities shortly. Ref. the links I posted below.

If you have the guts to mod your droid 4, GSM IS POSSIBLE.

Why is it called a NON GSM DEVICE? So you mean you could not put a SIM card in it and use as a means of communications such roaming services? coz i need a phone which has an access to all networks around the world coz i am a seafarer, please help thanks
