i have encounter the same problem with the E66 battery life span and lately i have just send the phone to the service center and they have change a transpodent in my phone to stablise the votage and now trying to monitor it .

Hey poisonuseangel,
I see you mention about the poor battery life of your Nokia E66. Are you aware that when a battery is new it needs about 4 or 5 charges to completely reach its potential operating levels. If you've just very recently purchased this handset, the problems you are experiencing with poor battery life are perfectly normal. You should find the battery life improves after a few more charges. Try to charge overnight with the handset off. This enables the handset to charge uninterrupted and to maximum capacity. Remember too that unlike Ni Cad or Nickel Metal Hydride batteries, Lithium batteries don't like to be completely drained to empty and have no memory effect. To ensure longetivity of your battery(s) ensure you recharge them before they drain too low - say 20% or "one bar" minimum. Nokia is an excellent manufacturer and the E66 looks to be an awesome handset. May it give you great enjoyment and may my input have helped alleviate any concerns you may have held.

i'm using the e66 and its amazing because it has lots excellent features...the only problem with it is the battery...it doesnt last for even a day

What bussiness phone emails office docs which are avail on most nseries too. FP1 stil nothing special but made n china too esp metallic color. face lift awkward. must sell for 200$ by dec

What a handset, one of the best ever from Nokia.

The only thing that lets it down, is the battery life, but I'm sure that's something that Nokia will resolve shortly.

My only complaints about it are 1. the web browser (i was using an Iphone before so i got used to good standards). 2.the camera is complete rubbish

E71's battery life is longer than E66. I'm using Internet Radio and WLAN connfection is always on, E71's battery lasted 3 days while E66 is 2 days.

E66 is far better than N70. I have N70, N73, 6288, E71 and E66 right now and I like E66 more than the other phones. Battery life is acceptable. You can change the settings of applications to avoid unnecessary battery usage. Yes, E66 got speaker phone also.

I'm thinking of changing my N70 to E66. Does anyone know the difference of thes two? Design of E66 is great, but hesitate about battery life and ringing noise. I use a lot of speaker phone, can this support my need?

Though this phone has all the latest features but few problems like low battery life, quality of image taken by camera is poor compare to N73 as both are having 3.2 megapixel. Also the sound frequency emitting during call leaves disturbing impacts on mind. Any measures taken to improve the above constraints.

i agree with all the guys that it have a poor battery and not that beautiful sound...in the other hand its very usefull,pretty,easy to use...and most of all its vary handfull foe the business
