But be careful when overlocking cause it may be dangerous for your device and overlock only when you need and not all the time.

Hi,
can someone please help me with my nokia n900,,
my h/s is just lyin wasted for past 6 mnths,, i tried flashing my h/s, but it still did not work,, my h/s is not detecting the simcard at all, and its got very slow when start up.. i had given it to the nokia store in the gulf , but even ther are not able to help me ,, i so want to use this h/s,,can someone from Mumbai can help me with this issue,,,

or pls explain me in steps what to be done, as i tried flashing the phone , but still doesnt work, as error i get is , FIASCO image does not match

I have this phone since 2 years now and I didn't experienced any problems except the battery which I destroyed charging it in a non-nokia charger... It has flyed from the second floor and nothing happened to him. It's very hard for anyone that used this phone to believe what you're saying is true.

This is the worst phone ever! I sent it in because the battery and they gave me a whole new phone, The new phone worked for a day then died and never charged or turned on, NEVER BUY THIS PHONE! It's a waste of money!

My N900 got that problem too, cause I upgraded the kernel to the latest version but my OS was still PR 1.2.... After I upgraded to PR 1.3 the problem vanished... If this is not your case, then I would recommend to reprogram your device.

And abt overlocking to 1.1 Ghz, I heard it's dangerous to keep that frequency all the time... I perssonally overlock the CPU only when using web browser and music play at the same time...

My Nokia N900 does not detect an wifi connections. I already flashed latest FIASCO Image and eMMC Image but wifi problem remain same. When i checked from xTerminal, I did not see any WLan0 information. I installed also rootsh.dev on my Nokia N900 also.
Please help me by replaying suggestions.

my problem now is processor slower and often hang . Dont know what to do . is there any newer Firmware update ?

For ur GPS problem try go to settting-location-location server=supl.nokia.com change to supl.google.com but if still not working try to restart and change to supl.nokia.com to to restart. Now my GPS working and show my location but bit slower than previous firmware.
