This phone is crap after a couple months the battery wont charge for like 5 days so you need to leave it on the charger. This phone need to be recalled asap, for no one buys this P.O.S.

please remeber to save to SIMS and send your pictures elsewhere from time to time. Because WHEN your phone shuts dowm in 5 months (and it will) you will have nothing if you dont save to SImS or put your precious pictures clips songs etc in another place besides your phone. no screen, sorry they cant retrieve ANYTHING.

purchased my phone July. 23,2011. December 16,2011 without warning, no screen, battery was toast. went to att tech center 4 times to avoid the 3 day wait perioed to fed ex a new same type phone. bad choice. 2 weeks later after christmas still no phone. I eventually called att to mail me a phone. got phone but no bttery. miraculously, the phone they sent me worked with the old battery. no problems yet. To keep it working, I will have to stay in constant communication with JESUS.

Bad phone went threw 4 in 7 months under warrenty, batteries junk. I own a business I depend on my calls forwarded to my cell. Extremly bad phone. I asked for a different phone and was givin the same junk. They should be recalled!!!!!

Enjoyed the phone and durable as far as I'm concerned. The camera takes great photos, especially look good when they are uploaded to FaceBook. The problem is about 7 months after the purchase, the battery will not charge anymore unless you mess with it for an hour or two!

This phone was amazing at first i got in in march and in august it started messing up the scroll button stopped working then the call button and the select button then when i slide up my phone the light dosen't come on so i can't text or see who i'm calling.

this phone only lasted me for 7 months the top buttons stopped working and the screen doesn't work.

This is an absoulutely AMAZING, phone! I GOT It for FREE since my mom added her 5th line to the plan! ITS SO AMAZING! I have it in purple and it looks so sexyyy! I Love to show it off! AT&T IS amazing! I Can go to a different' state and STILL HAVE SERVICE! its the best! If this phone sucks for you BOOHOO IT'S AMAZING FOR ME! but sometimes it MIGHT FREEZE but oh well its still amazing! i love the way the chat is! it makes it look like an iPhone chat!! anyways the vibration is LOUD! u can turn it to MUTE in the SOUND PROFILE and YES U CAN SET RINGTONES FOR TEXT MESSAGES in the SOUND PROFILE! awww this phone is GREAT!!!

This phone seems nice at first but the small buttons make it a huge hassle for men. It is also built cheaply and breaks way too easily for any man who works in an active environment. I am a field tech who works both inside and occasionally outside. The first one broke within a month while it was in my belt holster and the second one is not acting like it forgot my password. Also, I am sure that nobody messed with it and changed the password.

the samsung strive is ok but id rather have a new phone because i went through 2 of then in 2 weeks and i didnt do anything, the batterie got super hot, the screen got messed up, and it said that it was plugged in to the computer when it wasntt, but the good thing about that it was charging it self and i didnt have to plug it in.

garbage, repeatedly works then doesnt work. They also make u pay for a batttery after your 1st one breaks and in a few day you will experience the same problem

why do you blame at&t?..at&t provides service ,,NOT PHONES.MY SERVICE WITH ATT IS GREAT.friendly reminder,,just delete some of your datas to free up some memories,that is one reason for phones to freeze.

I have no comment about Samsung Strive A687. The problem is the server AT&T how to UNLOCKED? Useless to other country.

I've had two of these since last summer. They were both sluggish and burned the batteries out ridiculously fast. These phones are trash.

It's a great phone. But when I text, sometimes it freezes or crashes on me. I blame that on at&t, because my mom has the same problem on her iphone. It is a problem because sometimes I need to restart it to get it unfrozen. I recomend it if you don't mind dealing constantly with slow internet, crashes, and freezing.

okay. my keypad is all fudged up the backlight on the keys isn't lighting up and it won't let me type anything so i can't even put in my password. can some one please tell me what's wrong with it?? D:
