I simply love my Siemans A35.No problem so far and sufficient for my needs. Everyone says to get a new model but NO.I am quite happy with this. But one problem I have experienced is the difficulty in finding batteries.
Any suggestion about an alternate battery?

Well, telling the truth, my first mobile was a Motorola, but after that, I had three different A35 handsets, all were great, robust and reliable. Later, I have bought over 15 other mobiles of different brands, but I still have an A35 in a very good condition, I have no problem with it, but I can't find a new battery to buy for it. It is a gem, indeed!
