Tina, you can enable video ringtone by selecting a video(3gp)>options>set as> e.g. calls!!
and when someone calls you the video appears on the screen, but the sund quality of the video isn`t very good cuz the 3gp file is using amr audio codec!
I like this phone but i`ll buy the cx75, same software!

Please don't forget, that we had to wait for the M65 as well. The reason why was software problems. In Hungary the GSM Networks selled the 65 series only for few months, otherwise Nokia 6230 still can be bought after 1 year. Interesting, maybe software problems again?

Just had a look at the M75 at siemens website, found it quite a good phone. i currently purchased a Nokia 6230i about 2 months back, the phone very good but has a lot of bugs and has me running of to the service centre now and then. I my earlier phone was a siemens C55 and i've never had any problems with it. Does anyone have any idea what its price and availability in New Delhi INDIA is as plan to discard of the nokia. I checked the contact link in the siemens website, it seems that the webpage does seems to work correctly when submitting the query, it always asks for the category and topic details which are not given in the website page.

Hi, I think is a great replacement phone for my previous owned SX1. All I need is a MP3 player in a mobile phone cos I don't really care much on a symbian os running in a phone. It support playlists too, cos I have inserted a 1GB RS-MMC card...lots of songs now! :)
I haven't fiddle around with the camera, I think is better than Siemens S65.
BTW, how do you enable video ring tone, sounds new to me?

Got my M75 from Germany although I'm living in Asia. Great looking, and much nicer looking than M65. Easy to fix up the phone unlike M65 have to fix the steel plates.
Pros:
- MP3 player
- MP3/AAC/WAV/MIDI ring tones
- RS-MMC slot
- Fast user interface
- Very loud output sound from speaker or from stereo head phones if playing MP3 songs
Cons:
- MP3 player does not play in background
- So so 1.3 megapixel camera (hope the new firmware will improve this)
- Pretty small screen
Overall, this ia robust phone with dust, splash and shock spoof. Very statisfied Siemens customer.

Well, to all those that are criticizing the phone for it's looks, I think you're mistaken. After all beauty is in the eye of the beholder... So here's my opinion. I've owned the me45, m65 and am looking at this new m75. I think all the M designs are great. I'm sick of all those round feminine silver phones out there, frankly. I think the M series is a great change to the monotony. At least one manufacturer is making phones for men. Shiny is boring...

(telu asta va aparea in romania doar prin august sau mai repede, oricum, dak chiar vrei sa til iei incerk sa ai rabdare, shtii k in romania apar toate mai tarziu dakt in alte zone!!!)
so the phone is availabale, but not in romania, if you want to buy it from romania you`ll wave to wait a little bit :)!!

I live in Romania and i didn`t see this phone anywhere.You people keep saiyng that it`s available...but it`s a lie,and if u don`t believe me just look in a mobileshop.If u can find it tell me where that shop is couse i will go there and buy it.Just don`t keep liyng like that.You just want to fool people.

The M75 is already available in Germay and Norway, but only in a few shops, the CX75 will be available from 20 july, this year!!!!!
you can buy the M75 form club-siemens.net, it costs 310 euros, so stay calm, the M75 it`s available!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Siemens Are REALLY LIARS, Big Liars.They said that will be out at the end of June.I am very disapointed,I will get the SonyEricsson K750i,which is a better phone anyway.Very bad Siemens.

I received this e-mail 4.7. from Siemens, the day after I sent them an enquiry concerning the release date of the M75 model in Finland:
"The M75 will arrive in stores by the end of July. The price will be slightly over 300€."
Which means the phone will possibly be released, some time this year.

Helloooo????? Siemens where are you???? I've waited so long mobile phone like this and end up with only M65, bad camera and display. Nokia also loses with only 5100 in Indonesia and it was gone long time ago. What happen Indonesia??? Raising up import tax again?????

I made up my mind about six weeks ago to buy this phone and i am still waiting .i exspect the specs in this phone will be improved as the time has significantly moved on since its launch.i hope we do not have to wait too much longer or my new phone will become a nokia.HURRY UP

The menu icons are very blurry and the 256k screen looks like a 65k color one.Siemens really didn`t had to say that the screen is 256k(just don`t look like one).Bad menu,bad screen bad baterry.What`s not bad at this phone.I am very disapointed.

i read all those posts of angry guys cuz of the couple of days delay, so what? some delay, end of the world, catastrophy!!!!
go to Nokia5140i, i am sure Siemens was crying of laughs when read your posts... who cares...
for me Siemens is the best, and i am willing to wait some more days to get the great m75....
