i've been using this mobile since last year. even i had so many problems before, like sms bugging, internet problems, etc. but since i have upgraded my firmware to 47, believe me my phone has become faster and all the applications are working better than before. even the video recording time has also increased from 1:30 min to 16:30 min. Ever since the upgration of the firmware.....i am really satisfied with this phone and i think that i spend my money at the right place :D:D

Wow.. i read several of the comments below and almost all correct... sadly. I am a longtime Siemens user/fan too. S75... its just very sad. Sad for me to read all this too. I loved all M55 and A56, for different reasons.

I ordered my n95 this week. My phone is crashing several times a week now. RIP Siemens.

Horrbible.
I was a Siemens fan, all my mobiles till now where Siemens. But the S75... piece of crap. Looks good on photos, but my black edition looks like very cheap plastic. The phone is very slow in comparison to phones of equal release time/price, my one sometimes does not show, when someone is calling me (very rare, but nevertheless very annoying) and when when doing several things in simultaneosly (playing music, loading something else, or booting and opening another app) it quite often crashes. The pictures taken with the came are of poor quality in my eyes. Very noisy, horrible colors, often shifted... . The display is... well... it's ok, but not as good as it should be. When sending, it flickers a little bit, and resolution could be better too. All in all, I'm very diappointet with this one. It looks like Siemens tried to save a lot of money when producing. :(

The bottomline is that this phone is full of features, unfortunately most of them do not work. I also have problems in connecting to internet, error PPP 734, and that's it. Plus many more problems with FW. Shame, it has big potential, but just doesn't work. Do not buy this phone, it is too expensive to use it simply as a talking machine.

Unfortunatly Siemens bankrupcy in Germany left us without real support for Siemens and Benq-Siemens branded mobiles. OTA configuration is no more available, and a few drivers for the S75 can be downloaded in the "www.benq.sg" (Singapore) and nowhere else.
Benq will loose customers fidelilty if nothing is done.

It anyone try SWOTA (online firmware update,via wap)?? I want to know if is really work. Thanks! But via USB is difficult to update the firmware version? help... and sorry for bad english,i-m from Romania

Siemens S75 is my favourite in which am dreaming to have as my choice.This product is my friends favourite and i will be very happy if i can get one.THink Siemens always.

do you guys know how to transfer sms to memory card? can it be transferred directly to memory card? the memory for sms of this fone is very limited, as sms frequent user make me have to erase them almost everyday. anyone know how to solve it? thank you. randy song

Battery is horrible.
Frequently hangs while browsing and video playing.
Can not use as a modem.Error type- PPP 734.
Sound quality is getting bad gradualy.
...and there is no way to solve these Disturbances.Alas I've bought a Siemens S75.

Help.I am in Greece and when i try to open the update program it says"Error in reading the new software.Not enough memory".I cannot understand why it does it.I can't write sms in greek and i really need an update to 47.Any help???
Any link where i can download software updates??(benqsiemens doesn't offer any more the updates,and I don't understand some russian pages)
I love this phone,so please help me...

Frankly before switching to Samsung, i was once a Siemens fans. I like Siemens because its upgradable firmware. But pitty Siemens' Holding Company seems abandon its mobile division. And after holding and playing with this S75 of a friend of mine who a hardcore-siemens fans, i come to conclusion that this fone is "maybe" Siemens last masterpiece. What surprise me is the mp3 player is awesome which i think better than SE K750. I hope Siemens will release their fone line up in the future with its "SIEMES" name without adding Benq or Fujitsu or any other brand.

Need help with error 734 PPP link control protocol---I have purchased a new S75 mobile phone set from the authorized distributor from our country Bangladesh, two months back. Initially I was able to connect to internet using the phone set as a modem by using the EDGE service. But recently while trying to connect the following error message is appearing & the connection is failing. "An error occured during connection setup, The PPP link control protocol was terminated, Error 734". I have checked with the local GSM service provider & according to them there's nothing wrong with their service, rather something has gone wrong within the mobile phone set. I tried with variuos settings of the computer but nothing helped to solve the problem. Please help me with proper information how to get rid off this connection problem. The phone is having Software Version: 40, FFS Version: S75_2_ap-APAC-Int_40_0369

Incoming SMS are saved in the simcard not in the phone memory, how to solve this problem?

i have S75 fw47 a104...canīt use phone to other thing then call or receive call...anithing else i use (i.e. My Menu,Entry Box,ear music,play video)starts and the phone stucks...stay there until i have to remove batery and start all over again...any1 knows if this is fw47 issue , and if so witch fw is good.pls report something to me.

Well guyz....i went 4 that phone caz i dint really have the cash 2 go 4 nokiaz back then.Well that aint a bad set 2 have really ... if u aint tempting 2 own a symbian ... the best choice ...

1)good mp3 player.
2)almost no bugz in the latest firmwire.
3)The sms functionz could have been a lil better and faster.
4)the bluesolel BL doesnt work with the phone manager.
5)Making entriez in the phonebook aint easy. 6)cam is very fast .... cant beat the cx75 tho ......

i have been using S75 since early Feb 06, from unstable firmware to stable firmware.

I have no regrets in owning a S75. It's OS is the best, in mobile phone category

I'm on Chinese version of firmware 47

I think Siemens is the best, I have Siemens C55 for 3 years and never had any problems with it, and before that I had C45 also with no problems, network was better then most newer Nokia phones. Now I am going to buy S75 and I was woundering if someone could tell me how does it work on the latest firmware?

Weak network signal and slower software... Without that great phone... I think I'll change it sooner that i thought...

This Phone's a Crap,I confess it's better than S65 but all Siemens Mobiles Sucks It has Some Disadvatages Such As:
1- Bad Signal Reception(i lose Signal Sometimes When other Phones Shows 1 or 2 bars of signal Strength using the Same operator My Freind's SE T290 Has A better Signal reception Than my old Siemens S65 Nokia's A superior In this Feild)
2-Unstable Firmware(Full of bugs,very Slow,Not a User- friendly)
3- Hard to Repair at least Here In Egypt.

Don't Buy This Phone Go for Nokia Or SE
