i just bought this phone. very nice model and nice features, nevertheless, the battery barely lasts one day and sometiems not even teh complete day
is this normal or should i give it back to have tehm check it

I had this phone, i loved it!! battery life was a bit bad but you get used to it, if you charge it for a few hours it will last longer than an over-night charge! easy to txt with, really loud, really nice design, and even nearly water-proof, i dropped it in a puddle and it worked perfectly afterwards! I LOVED THIS PHONE!!

I have bought this phone but now I am scared because all of the reviews look pretty bad. Why is the bettery life so bad :(

I had this phone for about 1 1/2 years? And it was good for some things (like the torch) but rubbish for other things like you wouldn't recieve a text for 3 days? Awful battery.Stored alot of pictures but only 3 or 4 songs... my long term friend left me in June, Because i got a sony ericsson W910i, So much better.

The SL75 mobile is treacherously deceptive as it looks so sleek,flashy and all but its performance is really heartbreaking.If Siemens should consider making more of these,then i suggest they also provide their customers with technical support by way of posting them on places that are public.

ive had my phone for over a year, and i just bought the Nokia E65.
with the siemens, i have abused it. its a nice looking phone and all but i was even reading in the manual that battery life decreases with every charge. my battery dies daily even when i barely use the phone i have to recharge it every night.
the reception is bad and when you use your phone too much it starts to lag a lot and its a total pain in the ass to turn it off cuz theres no faster way other than taking battery out.
i am really used to this phone, i can literally work it with my eyes closed.
sometimes i text so fast that the phone cant keep up then it starts to lag and eventually turns off. this had happened quite a few times.
i have dropped it by accident a few times and there are scratches on it and its falling apart.
for some reason i have 3 of these phones in my house. 1 black 2 silver.
i dont regret buying this phone but major improvement must be made to the battey life and something has to be done to fix the lag.
its horrible.
for all those people saying that they dont have problems with the phone... they probably just got it.
give it a few months and you will see what we are talking about.
good phone...cant wait for my Nokia E65 :D

The phone is brilliant.Apart from the freezing part when smsing.Iwoke up one morning psyked up for smsing.Alas!The phone didn't go on.The place I live in doesn't sell the SL75 batteries.Can you send me one for free?By the way, the phone is hard core, my friend's fell down a two storey house and it is alive and kicking!
