Could anyone tell me what's the current showroom price of Xperia Arc in India? I see Xperia Arc S currently being sold around INR 21000. My guess, Arc should cost you less than what Arc S does.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-05-23 05:46 from 2@gY - click to readHi,

I honestly do not know how to resolve the heating issue. My phone gets heated up when it feels like, sometimes on calls or browsing or gaming but not always and i just ignore it.

Regarding transferring photos to computer, connect to PC and choose Connect memory card. Then in PC, open My computer, Open phone memory card and look inside DCIM folder. There would be a folder named 100ANDRO, open it, there you can find all photos and videos taken by the phone camera. Hope this helps.

> In reply to Asif nem @ 2012-05-23 16:17 from P@TZ - click to readI'm not sure if this will solve your prob, but anyway it's worth to try:

Download custom home launcher from PlayStore eg. Go Launcher or Launcher Pro, etc then set the new launcher as default home screen. Open application drawer and see if there is only one Play Store app icon in there. If yes, go into Settings - Applications - Manage applications - tap All tab, find and open Sony Ericsson Home, then tap clear data. Then reboot the phone. After restarting go to to Settings - - Manage apps, find the downloaded launcher icon, open and click clear default option. Go back to stand by screen and click home button to set Sony Home launcher as default. Then check the Play Store icon.

> In reply to Nolan @ 2012-05-22 17:11 from 95H1 - click to readYes, that happens to you, to every Arc user and to all smartphone users.
Smartphones are small so when there processor works harder, heat gets trapped inside and they heat up. That happens when you play or surf. Absolutely normal.
As for stand by time, only phone I have ever had and that has more standby on 3g rather than 2g is the Sony Ericsson w980. Not all phone have less standby in 3g but it is the standard.
As I don't have a 3g data plan I live mine on 2g network only

> In reply to Carol @ 2012-05-22 13:09 from fqr1 - click to readthe arc can only support videos up to 720p so make sure that it's not 1080p. If not then try again because sometimes it doesn't load for the first time

> In reply to Nokia S R @ 2012-05-22 15:58 from K2F0 - click to readI too am facing heating issues, but not in call. The phone heats while playing games n surfing the internet. The heating increases while surfing on 3g. I've also noticed that the battery backup has reduced significantly since moving from 2g to 3g.
