> In reply to james79 @ 2012-05-16 11:33 from 39x} - click to readThat's right dear jame. From the 2gb capacity I only have 700mb usable space and I read some specs and it was indicated there that only 700mb free space for the 2gb. But I tried to scan some items using file manager and I found out that some pre-installed datas are the following.
-Promotional video(which means its a large file) of xmp in english
-and I was surprised because there are other promotional videos of xmp in different languages and if I am not mistaken a total of 6-9 same videos but varies in the language being used that's why I deleted all except the one in english. Hehe.
- bunch mp3s wherein in different languages again. And again I deleted about 2 languages.

> In reply to Gris Bleu @ 2012-05-16 08:48 from KxVj - click to readThanks dear. I have a new problem, I am using gingerbread and so far I have no problem with it but I was just conscious to see the 'drama' of using/upgrading to ics. And now se sends me update on my system, will I update it or not? For better decision making, whats the difference of these 2 os aside from their taste(-hehe, I was just conscious again by the names they're using but ics seems delicious and hopefully it will compliment with my taste buds. Hehe.)
and to anyone who's online, pls.help me with that issue? Thanks!

> In reply to Atavar @ 2012-05-25 11:21 from nFwc - click to readYes, switching from GSM/3G to GSM could increase the battery life, but if you're in 3G coverage area it's more easy if you keep switching to hybrid connections, just disable data traffic if you're not using internet connection, then the phone will automatically working on GSM only eventhough phone status says otherwise.

> In reply to Subrata Shuvro @ 2012-05-25 11:33 from K6mw - click to readif its no hassle to you then you could try a factory reset. i reset mine and im pretty sure straight after that i noticed there were slight changes to the UI. Specifically that i now have the option to update to ics via wifi (without a laptop/pc). I know this sounds like bs but when i click on the link thats on my phone..."new sytem update available" (ics) that has been flashing on my phone since i bought it, then it has a download button and a little box that is ticked saying download via wifi only wifi. I havent bothered updating as im not in wifi areas that often, and the phone works fine. Maybe i am confused.....but im sure it changed to now being FOTA (firmware over the air)

Hey there, i've come across something of a fix to my battery woes. I found this and my handset had the same reception/battery use issue. http://talk.sonymobile.com/mes...43566#143566 As a first time Android user i was not aware choosing the GSM/WCDMA option was going to effect it so badly in my reception area. Now its GSM only it appears to have a standard battery drain, which is a relief. If this information was included in the box/mentioned at point of sale, i feel a lot more people would get on a lot better with this handset :)

> In reply to anand rocks @ 2012-05-25 08:06 from wd8d - click to readXperia neo L and HTC One V are ICS running phone using msm8255 chipset, 512MB of RAM. I think it's more easy to optimise hardware for ICS from the start than tweaking it for upgrade if it was optimised for older version like gingerbread.

I found this a great phone, not only cus is very cheap considering the specs but also cus the style is great the soft is very goood, it runs almost all the cool 3d hd games(MC3,Backstab,GTA3,etc) smoother than the average in that range of price. the screen size cud be better but the keyboard compensates it. i wud rather this than the defy or optiimus black

http://www.gsmarena.com/sony_s...oca-4718.php
It uses the same chipset used by Xperia X8 (over clocked),
