Hello people. Its been awhile since I posted here.
So basically, I have owned & used this device for almost 1 & a half years now. Its not the greatest phone out there, but sure you can live with it. I did.
It just had many bugs, laggy, & not so much features. The software (Windows 6.5) is massively outdated. Upgrades and updates are NOT available for this phone. Absolutely nothing, I can confirm you that. I was a bit disappointed to say the least, but I knew what I was heading for when I bought this. The biggest turnoff for this phone is the system - Windows 6.5. Its really old & not user-friendly. If this phone has Android, it would've been 5x better.
At least I can use it to make calls & text messages, which is pretty decent. Its more of a business phone but the bugs will eventually get to you, really. (it deleted my inbox of emails a handful of times, I had to receive & download all of them again to my phone - not fun!)
It is usable, but up until recently, it became so unpredictable. Earlier this month, my phone reformatted itself & I ended up losing all my text messages, and panels. Since then, my phone often restarts itslef and resets the date to 2010, which is the final straw to me as the problem could not be possibly repaired. (& I'm tired in dealing with the problems)
So to all of you out there, look for something else. This phone can't be upgraded to Android, nor to Windows 7. I don't recommend this phone to anyone unless you have money to burn (literally). For today's standards, this phone is just too slow, and I'm not kidding (15-25seconds just to load Opera Mobile??). I'm sorry to say that this will probably be my first & last SE phone, as I'm about to change to Motorola.
P.S.- This phone is much like what you call a 'Dumb Blonde'. It has the looks, but no brains.

I am using this mobile for the last one and ahalf year, ispite i updated it , comparing to any other mobile - it is slow , it is just a design but inside is nothing - it should be given a good update with light version or modify the system to android
so i dont advise anybody to buy this shit mobile - it is like you ar waisting your money in the bin .

i used this phone for a couple of months first im so dissappoint but after i update to 6.5.3 os and install some tweak app i so happy with this unit i can play nfs without any problem just install turbo3d and driver of adreno gpu 130 for x2 you'll see the difference :)

Hah i first used X1 gave me galore of problems, then it was exchange to X2, it gave me 1 problem it didn't vibrate when using you're own tones.
Then i complained to vodacom telling them crap then they change it to Nokia N8, Nokia is reliable guys.
Don't buy sony ericssons' products
