the ONLY way to upgrade the km555e to android is to sell it and buy a samsung galaxy Y.

just bring it over to the OFFICIAL LG store (I cannot stress that enough, lest you void your warranty) with your warranty card and receipt of purchase and they will repair it for free. same thing happened to mine a year ago, had it fixed and it works...
