> In reply to Ting Tong @ 2010-01-17 11:01 from Mfxf - click to readi agree about the chinese phone...
unluckily here in italy the sale of dual sim's phones is jammed because a legal issue of patent that's property of a small company...
a dual sim phone is useful for me, but i don't know if a touchcreen is more handy than a slide (eg in car...)

Samsung number one in the world very soon, already became number one in 2009 in Thailand where i live(Samsung 33% market in value, Nokia 32 %).

I am in doubt whether to choose this or b5722

Yes. What is the point in releasing new phones if they are not better than the previous ones ? Samsung has already made tons of cheap phones with better specs than this one.
I guess only the novelty factor can make people buy them

I have a 3+ year-old Samsung D900 with similar design, but with better specifications, and overall better-looking.
Phones like this should cost next to nothing these days, otherwise I don't see much need for them in the era of smartphones.

Ah...yes... I forgot...
This is the first Samsung phone which accepts vcf contact card over bluetooth.
I transfered over 500 contacts from my Nokia E72 to this phone with no problems. The only thing is lost during transfer is the picture thumbnail.

Have it already for one week. The biggest minus till now is: its so slow, i dont know if its firmware related or it has a slow CPU for that type of GUI.
PLUS: Easy switching between SIM cards (anywhere) with a hardware key.
Comments on the specs: BOTH SIM CARDS have data connectivity (EDGE).

It's out in Portugal.
179.90 EUR
Not going to change my c5212 for now (quite nice, its battery lasts longer than this new one).
Waiting to see what Nokia has for us next year in terms of Dual phones.
