Basic features, excellent phone. Superb battery performance! For a month of normal use, I charged mine only three times!

Guys, here in the philippines samsung is selling the E1080F. Is there any difference between the E1080T and the E1080F? I use to own an E1080T before it was stolen. Good model though what i don't like is that I can't view the LCD under ditect sunlight, and that it reboots when accessing the call log that is already full...

All around great phone. Cheap and easy. Ready to use for texting and calling. Only complaint is that there's no option to adjust the volume of a call, and it's so loud by default that voices are distorted and can be difficult to understand.

Hey I was just going through my phone and wondered what some of the features are.
What is the broadcasting message thing and how do you get 'channels'? This has me really confuesed,
and also how do you use the 'gsm network' thing?
The last questions isn't so important to me but still I'd like to know. Thanks

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2011-01-06 02:34 from t7Xi - click to readI don't think there really is much difference except for a little change in design (ie. the colour around the 'ok' button is red.) Apart from that i'm really not sure that there is any difference but maybe there are more features or something.

About the bad earphone audio quality, I forgot to mention, that micropfone is good and you can be clearly heard on the other end of the line. I have tested it. It's just the way how you hear incoming callers during talk.

The phone is realy good, because of the price, small dimenssions and light weight, awesome battery life, no unneccesary confusing features, just the basic. I don't have to worry if I lose this phone (though I don;t want to), cause I could afford to get another one instantly. The built is sturdy. I was throwing it in my hands in the first day, but ironicaly it accidentaly fell on the hard floor and fell apart in 3 pieces. I was shocked, but no problem. Stick it together and it works fine, just like new.
ATTENTION of one serious drawback - earphone audio quality is not as good as more expensive phones. Samsung should adress this fault.
I would suggest for them to make even smaller phone with a better scnreen. It would be perfect. May be some small weather sealing could be applied, but given the price may be it is not necessary.
Design is also good. I was considering Samsung C3200 but the design made me puke. Terrible.
Waiting for the next generation from Samsung of this cheap, small and good line.
