Got this phone yesterday. Bought it from ebay. Replaced my N95 8gb. Before that had a w810 for 3 years. I find sony erricsons so much better to use than nokias, and candy bars better than sliders.

First impressions of this phone....navigating is fast, except if you have a lot of movies on your m2 card, slows quite a bit, but everything else works fast. Screen is big for size of phone, beutiful to look at. Seems to be scratch resistant glass.

Camera is fast, witch makes it very enjoyable to use.
Takes better photos than N958gb which is a great feat.

Pros...
Thin attractive phone
great camera
fast navigating
clear calls and speaker, sound great

cons...
need to remove back cover [whole cover]to take out sim card,mem card battery. Quite dissapointing really

quite a heavy phone for its size really, [maybe a good thing]

I got my C901 2 days back only...Its really very cool.Its a father for old k770i. Really iam getting pics nicely and fast.I have seen some posts regarding picture quality. But according to me its better than the previous K850i. flash is also good. Plz update ur firmware to newer version. Then u will get some difference in the pictures. some Yellowish in the pictures but sony will make improvements in the further versions of firmware. Video recording is not up to mark. sony have to take steps to overcome these problems.. GOOD WORKSONY >>>> KEEP GOING >>>>>

I'd say that C901 has 3mp effectivity. Cause I always compare shots between 5 & 3mp..the latter shows good result. try it

I got this phone's normal edition (C901) for the last 2 days.Taking many many photos. But i am really disssapointed.Because the camera performance is not like I expected.I been using SonyEricsson K850i .I have compared the picture quality of C901 & K850i .Even an ordinary man can say the differences. It appears that the picture quality of K850i is far better than C901.The flash performance is weeker than the K850i & sometimes because of the flash the picture looses quality.I guess there is no improvement in the camera lens quality as without flash K850i & c901 gives almost the same quality pictures. I can not understand that why SonyEricsson is not paying any attention for the Cybershot series!!! If they put all their hopes on 'Satio' then Keep making one Single model like Apple(The company only makes iPHONE). But make something worthy.Don't make any other model.
Its a competitive market.Nokia,Samsung,LG- all these companies are bringing out new & new models , with newer newer features. But sony ericsson's camera's performance & video quality is not improving to that extent.If they believe that Satio will cover up the money then the company can also keep in mind that their long awaited XPERIA X1 could not bring them that much success.

Even at QVGA, i can honestly say that video recording with C901 has really been improved since the K800i.

got my new SE C901 just today and so far what i can say about this phone "its cool" ..love everything about it.. design, navigations are pretty quick, cam is great, but i paid 18k for this baby, didnt get the mem card,only have the usb, and i kinda dislike the background when creating a message, should have the same background as the theme.. or does that depends on it?? anyways.. im still playing around with it.. small keys are kinda confusing with ur tubby fingers hehe

so there my SE C901 experience for a day

Just bought this beauty today. It has a both Xenon and LED light (for video capturing) and yes you can zoom it on any resolution. Im loving it!
