plz can someone answer me, is this phone (g705) ladies phone or unisex? plz someone should answer me before i comit my hard earn money into, i m not ready to buy another phone for my girlfriend yet, just bought for her recently

The design is perfect for me. I would buy it only if it had a camera with autofocus. Other than the camera, it has the perfect specs, size and design for me.

Finaly a sony ericsson with everything including a flash! I was thinking of gettin w959 but then found out it didnt have 1 :( This phone looks realy good.. think i just found my new phone :) will this be out in uk before christmas does anyone know? cheers :D

I guess it depends which is cheaper in the end, as I like both W705 and G705...

G705 is more complete thanks to the GPS receiver, but I like the metallic front of W705, though that lacks GPS.....

One thing I don't like about both the phones is the ashtray-like ugly keypad parts....but I think I'm willing to sacrifice that as this is the most complete phone SE have done (Bigger display than C905, which I prefer!!)....

The Nokia N95 I can get around $450-475. With MS cash back that's 25% cheaper & has an awesome 5MP cam, close to DVD VIDEO, Display w/16 mill color! 8GB storage, GPS, and the next week in it. Only it's a little thick. I'm looking for a phone a wile go and so far i liked the G705 a lot but for the money the N95 is a better value - for me. I also do not care if it's called nokia or se or whatever..I'm not a fanboy as long as the quality is good, the features are there and I can afford it I don't care if it's an SE mannn. 3MP & no AF cam in a new ph. is still a shame for SE while others (LG, Nokia, SAMSUNG) selling 5MP or more w/ AF for about the same $ or less!

G means its basedn Gps Global Processing system,,, u can to see all over world country maps only... that is only G... its not a general... W means walkman, K means cyber shot k means normal camera series.....

How do i use wifi to surf internet? I hv connected to my home network but when i start surfing the internet using g705, it keeps connecting to gprs rather than using wifi.

Could any1 tell me if the ph. has touch screen. When U use GPS or the net it's much easier to navigate that way.
Anybody saw a picture made with this phone? how was it?
