@carbonize, sorry if i asked that question again, its just that you have used techy terms which im unfamiliar with. anyways my friend had her sew810 and its great. but im really not used to its orange illumination. maybe if i could also try the se550 or the sek800 (is it a good fone?) then only i can decide which fone to buy. i think to try and test the fone makes or break one's decision. thanx for the replies and info @carbonize!

@ad07 and others - As I did say in my original post it comes with stereo earphones attached to the dongle. These are bog standard ear phones unlike the ear buds you get with the walkman series of phones.

And yes it does come with a USB cable. Don't all phones these days ?

i got a k550 and it got the same problem , it does not recive incoming calls , all outgoing are possible when it shows network , but network is not allways on display , is it a software problem? or hardware?

Hi guys

just wanted to convey some technical stuff regarding the camera in all mobile phones. First of all, the essential component in photography are the lightning conditions around. Well I do own a sony digital camera of 6 mgpxl. And I also have found that when the light is bad and if I don't use the flash the photos are very very noisy and poor. So what makes the difference is the light. And that is where a flash has its role.

i tell u guys that no mobile camera can produce such great light with a flash as a digital camera flash does. Thats why all mobile cameras are bad in night and low lightning conditions. The flash provided cannot match the digicam flash, which is so intense.

But if u compare the photos in daylight , then they are very good and match the digicam clarity.

So accept the fact that a mobile camera cannot match a digital camera. ( But it does in outdoor pics due to good light )

My K550i is no exception.Outdoor photos are great but the indoor photos and night pics are very very noisy , and the reason is the absence of a powerful flash !!!!! . What K550i and all walkmans have is a photolight and it does'nt provide a great deal of light.

SO to conclude, the cybershot K550i takes great outdoor pics, but very bad and unusable at night conditions, unless the room has decent light around.

Hey. I have this phone for a week now. All the functions are OK except a very important one: from time to time, it cannot receive incoming calls - like it would be shut down. After I restart it, it goes OK for a few hours, then again: no incoming calls. Outgoing calls are possible all the time, no problems. I changed the SIM and the problem persists. Can anyone PLEASE tell me what happens? TY
Yes, earphones are included, but no memory stick.

K750i cam is much better than K 550...
another thing k550 is soo sensitive and sound quality is very low compare to K750 soo dont buy this phone its my suggestion.

Its really a nice cute cell..

here are the pros :-) :-)

>> night photos are horrible
>> speaker volume and clarity less than the
walkman series

Overall a great phone and does justify the cybershot branding if photos are taken outdoors. They simply match the clarity of my cybershot digital camera.

Thumbs up for sony ericsson 4 bringing out a great,speedy & cute phone

I bought this K550 on last feb 2007 in SIN. On that term, many other brand launched a new product. Poor you SE! Loosing a plane to catch?

to carbonize, thanx for your king reply about my query. hmmm.. with that it still makes me think more if what fone i should buy.. coz im searchin 4 a cam/videofone,mp3player,radio,bluetooth and infrared connection. coz i had my n6680 still i love it but lacks the radio and infrared. and about the package of sek550 youve never mention a memory card, and headsets (i think) does that mean its another purchase?! well i hope its available in the market coz ive found out the m2 card is kinda rare and new.
