jz want to ask anyone who bought this fone f the joystick becomes a trouble after a few days of usage?
well i bought a k300 and my joystick broke jz after 3 days of using it, same with other SE fones i bought it.
i think the problem with the joystick should be brought attention to by the SE engineers! good day to all!!

wats the big deal with cybershot?, its the same feature in sony digicams that most users barely like or use, i cant see why someone would buy a phone because of cybershot

oh... how poor sony ericsson ,,,all mobile companies show there best pretty mobiles in 3gsm ,,but sony ericsson show a very poor mobiles!
sony ericsson still dont have a screen with 16 million colour,,still no 3 mega pixel cam .. no tv...etc

Not using joystick as SE phones lovers no need to worry of its condition while playin games or sms a lot .. Meanwhile,14mm thickness ... great job SE .. :-)

perfect replacement of k750i.by reading review i found.
1)no megabass 2)ancient Qcif video 3)max limit of memmory card upto 1GB 4)no outlet for memmory card externally like k750i you have to open the battery cover for inserting memmory card 5)no usb cable provided in package 6)why is fast port kept in left side
,it touches in hand could get dirty.
but all around it is a nice feature rich phone in a compact size.hope its price equal
to k750i or some more

I would like to compare the k750i cam with k550i cam. eager for the results,
i think cybershot is just a name, no way it cant get the same class as that of k800 or k810i.
One important things lens diameter is 3.8mm while the k750i is 4.8mm

this phone is abit bad..
TFD display baddd
176+220 display is now ancient
QCIF video is now ancient
Cybershot is new..but with those drawbacks..its useless..

I just bought this phone yesterday which changed from motorola 1200 from samsung from nokia 6230i..etc verdict : GREAT PHONE
pros : best quality sound, best quality pictures, cool graphics , lotsa functions.
cons: don't know yet but wil let you all know soon. btw, the keypad kinda hard to get used to coz its kinda tiny but do yu always send text? do you always dial phone nos?
the casing is solid that you wont bothe if it falls on the floor/ground.ask me if u got any question..

i hope, the cost not more than Rp. I,800,000.
in Jakarta, more than that, i choose nokia 6233.

Atlast SE is on the right track by using circular navigation instead of joystick, joystick was a trade sercet in SE's marketing. In many cases it even stopped working in the one year warranty period. and unlucky those from whom the joystick stopped after the warranty period(eventually you would had to replace your set). I'm presently using k 510i, for which it was pretty much highlighed that its joystick is ultra reliable, after only 5 months of use, it has started missing my moves, and that was only reason for which i hated SE.
I would say to new buyers of SE that avoid SE's joystick phones.

of course I read the review, but wt i see from hi-mobile is that it DOESN't include a 512mb m2 by default... and u have to add 50bucks.

cmon guys!! please read the review instead of askin question that been wrote in review.. 512 mb included.. better than k750i?? slightly a bit better since it comes with edge and flight mode but the camera still k750 better and this one using TFD which K750i using TFT. Of coz TFT consumes more batt power but color are more accurate. Anyone asking megabass? No it not comes with megabass since this is not walkman phone.. PLEASE READ THE REVIEW BEFORE POSTING QUESTION ok... thanks

hi sir/miss thanx for anouncing this k550 handset.Its very good and nice in fuctions but sir/miss its price is some high bcz many countries in the world like pakistan there people cant afford it but they want and wish to buy it bcz of its good fuctions and shape.so sir/miss my requet is that if u can down the price some so everyone will buy it and will use it.thanx for giving me ur precious time.
