i had a 3500c nokia, now i have a 550i sony cybershot
nokia pros over k550
-voice dialing no recordings are necessary
-programming a new event on calendar is much intuitive n' easier
-can control radio using handsfree device
-nokia's menu handling beats sony-ericsson motorola samsung by far
-no solutions to some features on the user's guide included on k550i
-you listen an incoming call tone on nokia
-usb cables r easier to find
k550 pros over 3500
-irda
-cybershot led light
-quick mp3 player radio camera access buttons on device
-can use any kind on headphones

Im afraid dat news isnt fake.bsides symbian freaks is a kinda popular site,dey wont spread such lies.i hv a feeling dat dese 2company might get seperated soon.price of SE fons r droppin sharply in ma country.dat mayb d jesture of d end of SE.

First thing I wanted with my K550 is to use it as a modem for connecting to the internet in my laptop . I always had respect for Sony as a brand till I tried to install the Sony Ericcson PC suite on my laptop from CD provided with the phone pack. The installation got aborted saying my operating system is not compatible. The software was only supporting Windows 2000 and Windows XP while I had Windows Vista Home Premium.
Follow up with handset vendor did not help. I had to download it on the net from somewhere and installation of the pc suite took over 3 hours after several attempts and it was hanging all the way before deciding to work fine . I think Sony Ericsson is an oxymoron to supply Windows XP support only for the phone packed in July 2008 ( I bought it on 4th Sep 2008')
Experience is very bad.
Phone seems ok. Camera sucks for a cyber shot branding.

Sony can bounce back widout ericsson,but ericsson alone cant.im afraid ericsson dys r over.i jst hope sony continues 2make fons.afterall d technologies lyk cybershot,walkman,senseme,shake control .etc used in se were sony's.mayb its 4d best?i cant believe dis company is on d loss.i thot dey were makin more profits dan nokia!mayb it has got sumthin 2do wid marketin plans.at dis tym,its best 2get seperated.tho i hope sony continue 2 make fons n come out wid even beta fons dan d SE's did.
