What make me like this phone is Support of Java Mobile Application! With java inside.. you can install more software into your phone like you install software in your PC! Software make your life easier and fun!

About the camera , not all your opinion is true....

It's true camera quality couldn't compare to Digicam but it is NOT TRUE the picture took with this camera 'Clear in the middle and blurry going out toward the edges'. The fact is Picture took with this camera is clear on all side but picture you get couldn't compare to Digicam.

k550 is a good java virtual machine.
7 app. can working at same time.

Hi, ive had this phone for 14 months now and without a doubt. IT ROCKS! here's why
1. Very durable- i've dropped it a hundred times and its just fine. Even the screen doesnt affected.
2. Good battery life- now that its been 14 months. Its a lil less, but still enough.
3. MP3 player rocks. Excellent music, great volume
4. The camera is very good. I dont need to use a digicam cam. This camera has excellent clarity and resolution. The flash too is good. All in all, an awesome phone. You can close your eyes and buy it. :)

Great phone, i have it myself, for a year now. It works perfectly and it never crashes or something like that. Though the screen get scratches, when you put it in your pocket with a few coins or a zippo or something.

I like k750, but k550 is the best. More options and has edge internet connection. I personally complement SE for this advanced technology at the command of my fingers. I would recommend people who want to buy a SE, go for k550

Gimme a break, this phone is the king of the candy bar phones now. Nokias N-series is nothing but a marketing gimmick. By the time they will release their N-series with mp3 and 2 mega pixel phones, sony will already be releasing 3, 5, 8 megapixel phone, dont fall to nokia's marketing tactics, stick with another brand you like but not nokia.

ive been using the k550 for nearly a year and wont be buying another phone for a long time because the phone i have at the moment has every thing i could think of on it?! its just a great game and the buttons dont hurt your fingers for those picky brats out there!!

Im using k550 for one month now.This is a very good slim phone with excellent bright display.
This one has varying camera perfomance. It takes exellent pics in daylight outdoor conditions. But very disapointed in low light conditions and indoor shooting.(high noice)
Im not hapy wth da keypad. Its little hard to press. Those keys are thin and sharp, making your fingers painful at times.
But this phone is very cheap compared with w610. Soud quality is quite OK.If u lookin for a budget phone with rich features, this one is f u.

Can you tell me if the keypad of this phone is confortable?
Does the slim keys hurt you when wrinting a sms? Are they long lasting?

It amazes me how you guyz keep asking these questions about which camera phone looks the best, the answer is NONE, All these cell phones use cheap lenses.. PERIOD ive got a nokia 1.3M, sony 1.2M and another sony 2M pixel phones and all outcomes are the same! Clear in the middle and blurry going out toward the edges. Nothing changes, i go to my sony digital camera and go to VGA mode and the picture is IMACULATE from the inside and out!! No blur's at all its all about the LENSE. And until these cell phone companies realize to put in better lenses, the pics will always come out half way descent. But then again its a cell phone camera.. How much quality do you really expect to get?? Try it for ur self, if u have a camera phone and digital camera, set them to the same resolution and snap the same picture and look at them on the computer closely..

EDGE is an updated form of 2G data transfer. It offers much higher transfer speeds than standard GPRS, and in the case of the k550i@w610i its 236.8kbps (as opposed to 32-48kbps with GPRS). 3G=UMTS, which is being touted as the eventual successor to GSM. This offers data transfer rates of well over 300kbps.
UMTS is static - i.e it cannot evolve further and the transfer speed will not increase, but the EDGE is continously evolving and will get better and better to a point where it equals UMTS or even betters it.
