I'm a devout fan of Sony Ericsson phones, and now that I'm back in a region where I can have something other than a local rural carrier w/ limited phone options, I bought the T707. First, the light features simply don't really work, either on the keypad or externally, and that's one of the big selling points about the phone. But if you call Sony Ericsson tech support, as I did, to ask about how to adjust the light effects, they'll be the first to say that they are dim, even at night, and not meant to "really light up the keypad" or the external display. When the phone rings, it's nearly impossible to see the light effect you assigned for a contact, so that feature is useless. And having the keypad not light up is _really_ an annoyance, especially because my eyesight is crap and need that; but most phones have that now, so it's pretty bizarre that the keypad doesn't light up. Other features, like the camera, are simlarly disappointing. While the photo fix option seems like a cool feature, it fails to fix the fuzziness that occurs with every photo you take, regardless of the conditions. All in all, a massive dissapointment. This phone is being returned, and I'm buying something else--perhaps an LG. Sad, because I do like SE phones, but obviously something has gone very awry here with this phone.

every thing is bad camera is also not good.but the disigne is nice.check properly before u buy it.they give all duplicate materials.

im looking for this model but very dissapointed coz im not found pink color yet in KL Malaysia!There were only 2 color available, it is blue n black!

I think the pink light effect (not the keypad color light. The keypad color light can't be changed) can be changed. Like in Z310i, the light effect can be changed. In Z310i, the light effect is available in Settings>Sounds & alerts>Light Effect. I don't know it T707. So, try to find it in the Settings menu.

In my opinion, Sony Ericsson T707's design is good, slim like W508 or Motorola RAZR V3 or RAZR V3i. It is said, the keypad surface is made in black and the flat circle keypad is made in hard plastic and its body material made in chrome metal (Wow! Looks good! :))
Its feature is good too with reasonable price. But, I still prefer Z610i. There are some features that I don't want in T707. I don't want radio, 3MP camera, geo-tagging (cell ID) and Google Maps. While in Z610i, it has no radio, 2MP only, no Google Maps.

does this phone have camera flash on it? i read on some websites there is LED flash but on some other websites there is no flash at all...
i'm so confused.. can anyone tel me y isit so?

And if u wanna have a more impact sound, go and big BIG speaker and put it side by side of ur ears. I'm sure u will like it. lOz..peace

I know this phone is designed for women.
I think the black design is masculine enough.
Is it possible to replace the pink light/colors???

This phone is pretty mean. Caz when the alarm goes off, if you just wave ur hand above it turns the alarm off. But it's a shame don't have a camera inside the phn. but still.... not sure if it's worth buying!

my girl already bought this phone, VERY-VERY DISSAPOINTING, the camera isn't good and the player sound is so small although it was maximum..
