I am looking for a software allowing me to make internet calls, not only chat. As I posted this request already 4 times and never any real answer came, I am afraid w995 can´t be used for internet calls due the lack of the needed software.

i want to ask about the performance of the 8 mega pixel of this phone which one of the following opinions are right?
1)some are saying that camera is awesome
2)others say that it s decent for day and near shots only.
3)another opinion is saying that camera is very good if you use advanced options that not many people are arware of

When i'm in the music player, playing a song, the 4 buttons 1.options 2.back 3.play/pause 4.clear/delete become red (glowing) but not the 5. one - means the task button (to switch to another application). But when leaving the music player all buttons are glowing white. Does someone have the same ?

Stickers of SE name and camera info WILL scratch off since SE put stickers on phone instead of stamping info into metal casing!!

This will NOT affect the performance but will cause people to think SE has gotten "cheap" and will question phone quality!

WOW! The W995 is an EISA Awardee! Mobile phone with the best in Music! No wonder cause it's a Walkman phone. Good one SE!

Unfortunately, it's permanent and can NOT be removed or replaced by another app =;(

i come from the w810. the w995 is more advanced than the w810. newer features and updates to the basic features of the w810. the sound from the speakers...well the w810 was a touch more bassy and little bit more detail and clarity , but the w995 is clear and has a fuller rounder sound. if the speakers had a little more bass it would be excellent. the phone so far is a joy to use. the w810 is more rugged, the w995 is more fancy and delicate, but it is made well, its just the design is more complex with the slider and all...more openings, which is why i think the w810 is more ready for rougher use. w995 is a quite expensive this is why i feel also that the w810 i could toss around more, but the w995 i must treat better.

have been using this for a couple of weeks, the music quality is amazing, especially if you use it with SE's noise cancelling headphones, makes my daily tube journey... bearable! the silver colour also looks really cool!

i have the silver one and i've noticed that the printed name sony ericsson infront and also the 8.1 print at the back has been erased. I mean whenever i scratch it, it'll be deleted. Why is it like that? Do i have to change the case of my phone or it can't be fixed anymore? thanks!!

Anon I mean the notes and tasks application you have in your organizer, can be displayed on home screen. Facebook also does have this option. Graham is right...Its amazing application....Well done SE
