> In reply to SE 2010 @ 2010-09-03 17:03 from 4ANi - click to readThanks.. I did all the steps you told.. Well, except for the step no. 1.. Umm, how do I change it? Lol.. I don't quite understand..

Btw I did uninstall a few apps & panels.. On the advice from XDA developers of course.. & this helps a lot too.. My battery life & stability has since increased considerably.. :)

Thanks for your advice tho'.. I won't be overclocking my X2.. Not just bcoz of that, its also cause I feel my X2 is good enough without it :p

Hehe, I honestly like this phone.. Now itself I'm typing on my X2.. Umm, btw where can I download free & fun games for my X2? PlayNow only seems to offer the two games which I already have..

Sorry for this long post.. Thank you!

Thanks for sharing this useful experience with us Pavel :)

I think it's also beneficial for the users to see how the x2 does compared with other handsets.

Hey buddy no problem :)

To increase the battery life :

1- switch to edge/2g/gsm band when a 3g network is not in need. You only need 3g when your using the internet or making a video call.

2- only use wi-fi and bluetooth when u need them. other than that they should be closed.

3- adjust the brightness of the phone to the half, and when your phone is almost dead and you really need it, change the brightness setting to the automatic mode.

Unfortunately the sound is soft, so for me the best thing to do is to set the ring tone the loudest it could be. And also try to set your own ring tones instead of the default ones.
I found this to work for me, and honestly it's very rare to miss a miss call or an sms.

Finally, regarding over clocking the CPU, I think you should just pass, because it will definitely stress the cpu and effect it on the long run + it only works on Ac power, so it's not worth the risk anyway!

Hope this helps my friend :)

Cheers!

I see you got a problem about the SD Fix..
Why not try to download & install it from your X2 itself? Open the file when download is complete..
When u click on it, it sure doesn't load into Internet Explorer..

Hope that helps..

> In reply to SE 2010 @ 2010-09-03 03:16 from 4ANi - click to readHey, before I forget.. Do u have any tips to minimise battery usage? & how to increase the max. volume of the phone?

I mean, is it possible coz the ringtone for messages & incoming calls I find it a little bit low/soft.. Is there any way to improve this?

And one last thing.. What do you think about this:
http://forum.xda-developers.co...php?t=767538

Should I do this to my X2?? It claims to improve the CPU speed..

Thanks!

Btw yeah, I have the radio.. Which means it is already running MR2, I see.. No wonder I find it responsive enough & pleasant to use (lol)..

I'm getting to know this X2, it sure does takes a lot of time (not to mention its my first SE handset).. But its okay, I'll familiarize with it soon enough, I'll be patient.. Its a good phone overall :D

I tried browsing the internet with it & it sure is a pleasure! I browsed with Opera mobile 10 btw.. Which is much more faster than Internet Explorer, so it really is a good experience.. :)

& thanks for the info about the backup data thing.. I'm sure I'll do it soon..

hi xperia x2 owners!!!yesterday i used htc hd2 for 8-10 hours!and i can say that:htc has boring design,x2 very good!
htc has screen 4.3,but x2 has brighter screen!
speaker sound-x2 much more better plus stereo!sound in earphone almost the same!
it was my first experience with sense, and i can't say that it makes windows 6.5 more comfortable, then se's windows customising, plus panels are very nice!!!
x2 has twice longer bettery life!
htc-capacitive,x2 resistive, you have to get used for both of them,i can't see here a winner, both screens has pluses and minuses!
big plus for x2 qwerty!tv-out)camera button)
camera:x2 has better photo,htc-video
of course processor htc 1ghz,x2 528ghz,but i can't say that htc twice faster than x2,maybe:menu navigation htc 10% faster, and 20% faster in all other stuf!
earspeaker and microphone:x2 better than hd2and x2 much more comfortable in hand and in the pocket!

I had a dream that SE announced special hardware update for X2 -- They took some money from us and upgraded CPU to 1 GHz !!!

Also be sure to explore the device well because it has a lot of nice features. Try microsoft my phone in order for you to backup all your data to the internet. So when ever anything bad happens all you need is to click the icon microsoft my phone again and it will download all your important data.

And don't forget to check the market, because I'm sure that you will find plenty of useful apps there.

Finally, don't forget to browse the internet on a 3g network or a fast wi-fi connection and see for your self how fast the device will work with you :)

Cheers!

Hi bro,

Welcome to the X2 member club :P

If your sure you have the radio, this means that your device is already running on MR2.

Recently got my X2.. Its working fine so far..

But I happen to have FM Radio already in this phone.. I thought we're getting the radio in the X2 only after an MR2 update?

I got it pre-installed.. Idk, its already there.. Hmm, confused~
