I got this phone 9 moths ago, it has crashed 5+ times usually during a text or a java app.
The screen must be re calibrated after every restart..
This has the third worst touchscreen I have ever seen, it is much worse than the old 2002 pdas.
Battery life is unpredictable, it seems ok then you have 1 bar.
If you use either accessory radio, wifi or bluetooth battery will go faster than you can tabulate.
It does charge pretty fast, and either from usb or wall.
Good luck finding a cover case or any other accessory for it.
The java on this is very limited and slow but does work.
The PC suite works ok for files but the updater never worked and there is no support.
I will never purchase another Alcatel product.
Nokia is 10x better, for small cheap phones.

Why do i have to exert allot of pressure or press hard on my touch screen to work,how can i make it one touch please someone help?

i dont understand my Fm radio doesnt work..it wont pick any frequencies when i try auto search it searches for 6 seconds and stops and gets no radio station..Help me guys anybody with the same problem

You need to convert your desired videos to the right specifications.
Res: 320x240
Frame rate: 15fps
Video codec: MPEG4
Audio codec: AAC
Sample rate: 11025
Bitrate: 64 Kbps

You still can change audio specifications to a better ones, but I never tried.

If i download any applications from opera mini it doesn't comes properly.....why it happens like that any solutions for that.Please help me!!!!!!!!

I was using this alcatel,when the resisitive touch screen stopped working,i have trie d calibaration,but still the problem is persistent,can somebody please tell me how to solve this problem?

you can get unlock code for your ot 806 on the following link, it worked for me, so I'm sharing the love =)

you will have to wait 2-3 days for the code, and you will have to google unlocking instructions, but it's quite simple (you just type in the given code)

m having a problem with my alcatel ot 806, i can't use any gsm network, or can i say, any sim card.

I have recently purchased an alcatel OT-806D. I live in India. The following preinstalled apps are not working:
1. One Touch Mail
2. Email
3. News
