http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_hd...ew-418p8.php

As can be seen in the graph the iPhone 3GS offers superior sound quality over the HD2, the results of the tests also show the HD2 having higher levels of distortion.

Widgets that show weather are often not very up to date, you will get a far more accurate temperature from observations recorded at meteorology sites in your browser.

Did you know you can organize the order of Apps in iTunes and you can fill all eleven screens and still add more Apps which can be accessed by typing the first few letters in spotlight?

I get all my local stations live via Internet radio including the AM ones as well as police scanners by opening the links in Safari you can have them running in the background while doing other things.

WinMo is a dying platform, manufacturers are dumping it and there are only a few enthuisiasts left it reminds me of Amiga computers in the nineties.

How's the pink tinge on the camera?

HTC are reknowned for very poor image quality of their camera's in fact no serious camera phones use WinMo it's a flaw that is often hidden by the poor quality 16 bit screen.

> In reply to Mitch @ 2009-12-10 02:32 from qakZ - click to readI'm being repetitive because I read the same nonsense over and over again. It's funny that you only notice my redundancy and not the iphone haters'. I remain nameless because my name is insignificant. You've obviously identified me easily by my encoded location, so why would my name matter so much?! I don't think that others are being naive. They simply make up stories and lies just to put down the iphone. As far as talk interruptions are concerned, that is more on the carrier side than the iphone. I'm in the US, so I cannot speak for carriers other than AT&T. Your personal taste will not count compared to legitimate tests conducted for music reproduction is concerned. I've had the diamond before the iphone, and it does not come close to the iphone audio quality, and I'm sure that the htc hd will not make a big difference either. As I have said, you can arrange the icons on your iphone to your preference. You can put all your frequently used apps on the 1st page, then the 2nd, and so on and so forth. You can move all native apps that you will never use to the very last page. On any device, you cannot delete native apps, only those that you have added. The clock icon is not for showing the current time, it's basically an icon for alarm, timer, world clock and stop watch. The time is always shown on the top of your screen. You don't need to be redundant by showing the time on the top of the screen and another time that shows the same time on the clock icon. That's a waste of energy. For something like the temperature, it's energy practical if you just tap the weather icon when you need to know the temp. No one needs to know the temp every 5 minutes. If you do, you are one of a kind. As for local news, the iphone has internet. You do not need fm to get news. News on fm limits you to only what they newscast, while if you go to the internet like yahoo, you have more control on which news you want to know about. Your excuse for fm radio is lame. You can have news anytime on the internet, while on fm, you'll have to wait till they do a newscast. Not smart.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-12-09 11:11 from FJTg - click to read"Yes, your friends who owns iphones had to bust out their digital cameras to take a picture at night. But guess who had better quality photos in the end? So yes, it is worth to bust out a standalone digital camera with real xenon flash at night if you like taking pictures."

my pics from my n95 turned out great also...it has a powerful led flash. the n82 also takes great pics like a digital camera because it has a xenon flash. also the moto zn5( 5 mp with a xenon flash).
the SE satio is equipped with a great camera, just like a digital camera.

Ummmm...we are talking about the conveniency of having one device when out in public.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-12-10 01:24 from FJTg - click to readAfter reading posts from you on this site I do not know why I am responding to this, but then, I have some free time on my hands so here it is.
Your superiority is tiring and repetitive, but why do you remain nameless? To assume that someone is as naïve as you describe them to be is insulting.
I can hear the other person on the phone and vice versa when we can hear each other, the line cuts out, like deaf moments. Three other iphone users I know have the same issue. This is not limited to our carrier (Rogers). I have been across Canada, Europe, the US and the Caribbean and my HTC always worked perfectly. The iphone users I was with did not always have full not even partial or any quality service. To my personal taste, the HTC HD kills the iphone in regards to music acoustics. I have a very expensive pair of ear bud earphones and I do not have them to listen to crappy acoustics. I like my music and it has to be clear from the highest treble note to the hardest bass. I know very well how to organize the icons, and I wish I could have what I want from one page, one tap and there you go. No swishing through 5 pages to get to what you want when you want it. If I do not want something on my phone then I should be able to remove or disable it. Why should I have to endure 21 icons on a phone when I use less than half of them on a regular basis? There is a clock icon use it make it live and only have that as the info for time. The icon is useless without this info. It’s a recurring issue with the iphone, having info on the home screen that is useless unless you tap on it. Again for the weather icon, is it too much to ask to get the present temperature? Having a FM tuner is important to me for local news and to be informed on what’s going on in my city, province, and country the world!!! Local radio is entertaining at times when there is something of interest going on in my community. Its called being informed and you should do a little of that. And yes I do have an iphone; it has the pretty apple logo on it.

> In reply to nick @ 2009-12-10 00:54 from nxwR - click to readYou are not making any sense. Are you telling us that htc has the resources to produce great phone but does not the resources to produce commercials for their devices? Lol. Htc has been around longer than the iphone, and you're telling us that they cannot afford ads? Lol.

> In reply to Mitch @ 2009-12-09 17:34 from IsiH - click to readAre you sure you have the iphone? Lol. Let me tell you why I doubt you.

The call quality can be improved but it doesn't suck at all. I can hear the other person clearly on the other line and vice versa. At&t's signal strength sucks though. The iphone has the best music reproduction barnone, and I really doubt that htc hd could even come close. Look at the tests. The iphone's screen set up is much better than folders. You can move the icons around in a way that you can have all games on one page, communication apps on another, and so on and so forth. Didn't you know that? As for native icons that you cannot delete and don't want to use, you can always move them to the last page so you wouldn't ever have to see them. Didn't you know that either? The clock is always live and is always on the top of your screen. Didn't you know that? As for the weather, it's 1 tap and it opens right away. How often do you look at the weather in one day that you always want it live. It's not like it's going to jump from 90 degrees to 40 degrees in 1 minute, lol. Who needs an fm tuner when you have pandora radio and tons of songs saved in your iphone? Are commercials that important to you?

So I really doubt if you really have the iphone :)

Forgot two important things. Check your data plan, this phone is a data hog. The battery life is poor.

It's obvious you don't do photo editing on your phone.

Visible pixels?

Only if you hold an iPhone 2" from your nose and who does that?

Come back when the HD2 sells more than 20 million.
