Hi x5 user. I just wanted to know if all of you have a wi-fi hotspot function on your device? Mine was nothing. I'm using old version 2.2. Can anyone help? Thanks.

huawei has released an updated version of this phone..it has the msm8255 snapdragon chipset,HSPA+ and also a radio...

i tried upgrading my ideos x5 os from froyos to gingerbread but my battery run down in the middle of the upgrade.now the phone hangs when i turn it on and it goes off after displaying the ideos os.i tried to upgrade the os again but it stops in the middle of the process n never finish.please help me in fixing my phone..please i would b really grateful

i tried upgrading my ideos x5 os to gingerbread but my battery run down in the middle of the upgrade.now when i the process all over again it keeps stopping in the middle of the process and never finish..when i try putting the phone on it hangs after the ideos logo comes and goes off on its own..please help me on how to fix this problem...please i really need help

hello all if you were to choose between a huawei ideos x5 and a sony ericsson live with walkman which one woud you go for?give your reasons plese..
the sony ericsson live with walkman has USB on the go support..is it possible to get that feature on the x5 through maybe an app or a software update or is there a hardware limitation?
also can i play HD(mkv) movies on either of the phones?
lastly are the phones supported by cyanogen community?

When i turned off my cellphone and re started it. It just hang up to its like welcome note says "IDEOS" I try to wait for an hour but nothing come up and its still the same. What to do? help....
