Hi friends, i am planning to buy lg KP199 mobile. i need to know whether it is having MODEM option to connect the mobile to PC for internet browsing.
Also tell me how good FM recording is...
Does it have pc suite?
Is external memory extendable up to 4GB?
Java games and application installable only to maximum of 1MB?

phone is good & chip but sound not good.
nokia 3110c is all most good 500rs high price

LG KP199 is almost good mobile but it has some drawback like we can't use GPRS service on Computers.. Thats the major drawback, Rest is fine.

Help, cell phone to PC data transfer problem...
Hi,
I have a LG cell phone "KP199". And I am not able to successfully connect it to my Windows XP via USB cable. XP recognizes it as new device 7339 but can't install it.
This cell phone does not come up with software CD. Do I need Windows XP with latest service pack (SP2 or SP3)?
If someone is using this model with their OS successfully, let me know how you did it.

i am gone to buy a mobile worth rs.10,000. but when i see lg kp 199 i think it is more good then any other mobile. it's very superb.

This phone has a2dp (Stereo Bluetooth),2gb memory 60mb internal memory etc....For 4000 Rs(india),this is the best one can get....and that too you get a HD display(256k).Awesome phone!

Tell Me if any software to connect it to pc i.e. to customize contacts and sms.
it good on features but interface is not good.
bad music player as does not reads mp3 files from sub folders. and sound control has only 5 levels. also it does not reads ID# or any other tags.
earphone quality is awesome andit is also fast.
battery backup is also great.
good for its price but no lg software avaliable.
it supports upto 4gb as mentioned on lg official web site.
