this fone IS awesome, youre right (below) i ordered this fone from cellhut.com and everythings great, except battery doesnt last long with music player, but rhe fact you can put a memory care is cool and i had to call tmobile too to get the internet to work and picture messaging. the only thing i dont like is wen u restart the fone old texts come back and the charger is annoying since its from asia, u have to make sure its plugged in on an angle, lol

i just purchased this fone from tmobile i called tmobile because my mms and internet were not working on the fone, but they went step by step over with me to get tha internet n picture messaging to work. this fones great, YouTube works lol, i didnt know this fone could do that and the message initializing only happens once in a while but not that annoying, but there is no radio. overall this fone is good for texting and internet, and u can assign ringtones for your contacts using ur mp3s

get a 'message initializing' sign every time I want to access texts that are over a few days in age. Phones shuts down, open a messgae and other one opens. got it sept 08 and its been back twice for same problem... am sure it will only be a mtter of time before it starts happening again

hey does anyone know how to make mms messaging work and the internet work on this fone for tmobile? i just got this fone but i cant send/recieve pics n search the web, everything else is find tho

i would certainly not recomend this phone i bought in the summer had nothing but problems since keeps freezing not able to sent msgs keeps turning its self off. worst buy i have ever made.be warned

Hi everyone, recently I just got my hand on this phone. This phone looks nice just with a little problem here and there.

a. When I am doing a mass sms, i went to contact and tried to mark several people, but the phone just restart and my msg that i composed is gone. Happen a few times and guess it need servicing.

b. The clarity of the sound is not too good, quite hollow.

c. It cannot read JAVA script, so some of the friends here who d/l games and that's why u can't play. :o)

d. Regarding the sensitivety of the optical lens, yes, it do help instead of a joystick. U can always turn it off if u think it doesnt help.

Well, thre's good and bads to the phone though.. :)

AWFUL PHONE - got given 4 of these as a wedding present from Korean relatives - 2 have gone bonkers in 7 weeks. avoid, avoid, avoid - message initializing, shutting down randomly - Will avoid LGs

Had this phone for 3 months now and i have had a lots of problems. Turns it self off / locks up / text mess. reappear after they have been deleted.message initialising ?.Software only works once and then u have to uninstall / reinstall.E-mail addresses have appeared in my contacts list of people i have never heard of.Phone going back tomorrow for repair. Stay well clear.

the battery life dont last as long as i thought..is it the prob of the battry or the phone need too much energy??

Of all the slide phones that I've tried, the LG KT520 has one of the most ergonomically designed keypads for text messaging - the designers remembered to put an extra space between the top row of the keypad "1,2,3" on the bottom panel and the top panel. This makes it very easy to type out text messages even using just one hand.

As an engineer myself, I personally feel that the optical finger mouse is an ingenious replacement for the traditional joystick - less moving parts means less mechanical wear and tear, which in turn means longer button life.

The phone can be set to display very large font sizes - a plus point for short-sighted/older users.
Start up time is rather long - just like most LG phones.

The original packaged OS does seem to have some issues with older text messages though. I would recommend that users go and update the phone's OS as soon as possible.

Hey. I've had my KT520 frm 1st Oct 08. Can't say I'm having much technical issues yet, except that the fone keeps disconnecting frm my PC evry sec! (I think it's an issue wit MY PC.) My grouse is that the manual covers all language except English, now that's wat's really bugging me! Can i get a download link for the manual?? Bless up!!!

i bought KT520 n i had problems with it few days after i bought it. message initialising, phone hanging once in awhile, smses that cannot be deleted n worst of all, phone keeps restarting so i had it changed. i got a new phone, n it had the same problems except for the part where it kept restarting. if u want to get a phone, NEVER get this.

hey. this phone has no radio please. i followed the specs given by gsmarena, but my customer rejected the phone cos there is no radio?????!??!?!

I completely agree with RobTheBank. the battery's ALWAYS dead by exactly or less than 24h. & you wont be able t read the msgs you sent/recived more than abt 5 days ago. The phone memo can only hold max 500 contacts which is so limited. & worst of all, after like 2 weeks or so of getting it, it switches off & on by itself & i cant even get to use it.

i have a problem wiv my kt520,mainly about reading memory cards,i put a 512mb micro sd in it it didnt read it,and put a 1gig in it it read it but says memory full,so i formated it still got the problem,can any1 help.
