I bought this phone and is satisfied for my usage. No WiFi is no problem for me. Battery life is short but for me I usually charge my phone every night so no problem again.

I like the phone design because the main purpose of a mobile phone is a phone. The other 'smartphone' functions are sumpplementary. This phone serves this 'core' requirement, i.e. reliable (no hang); loud speaker and ring; solid body; right size to hold it to talk.

The improvements I suggest LG to do are bigger screens (both inside and outside), especially the inside one.

What do all of you expect it to do??! A phone with all those high-tech internet stuff costs at least 200 Euro more!!

> In reply to Lydia @ 2008-11-30 01:29 from iS5bIt's got gprs, edge, 3g and hsdpa. They all grant access to the internet and are easily set up, so you shouldn't have any problems. The coverage usually extends beyond the city limits, so there is little problem there either.

Okay, I know this is a silly question.
No Wi - fi. Alright.
My good friend has the KT610, and I was wondering if you just access the internet through the network? I don't want to be buying a phone specifically for the internet when I can't access it wherever I go (within city limits of course). Can I still access the internet with this phone even if I don't have a wi-fi connection?

In my line of work, I need to save all my text messages. I am currently using the SMS Export application that is free from the S60.com website.

Does anyone know if it is compatible with the LG KT610? Can anyone test it out for me?

My other question is, is Y-Browser also compatible with this phone?

Thank you.
