Only upgradable to v 2.1 in the USA. Need a new phone then and it won't be a Motorola then.

But if you root it and install a decent ROM, such as CyanogenMod 7, which is currently at 2.3.7, you'll be able to do a lot more with it. I know you shouldn't have to resort to that, and it voids your warranty, but it makes a huge difference. I installed CM7 a week after I got mine 10 months ago, and haven't looked back.

i can't not do the long txt because went i do it bounce back so i can not send long txt i dont how to use or to change tne txting methods and how to copy my contacts from my simcard to phone contacts?..anyone knows how?

I received the phone because I had my Sony Ericsson stolen and I absolutely dislike almost everything. I can not send long text messages, otherwise it bounces back. I can't send multiple text messages, otherwise it bounces back. None of the apps that I want to use will work because the software is too old, and most of the apps doesn't support the 1.5 OS. Motoblur continuously slows down the entire phone. The phone just isn't smooth! Auto-correct's words that I ACTUALLY use often to words that I don't and most people don't either. My Rogers Account app doesn't even work properly! And I know it's not because of the app itself. The list can go on... I'm fed up with this phone. I'm currently paying for a 6gb data plan... and I'm starting to feel as if I'm giving my money away to Rogers because of this phone. I understand all I could have said, didn't like the phone and wouldn't recommend others to use it. But I just HAD to get this out there.

Why is my phone not able to connect to Wi Fi? Initially it connected and downloaded from the Youtube but got stuck half way and not working properly ever since. I can only make calls. GPS is not working. Whom should I contact regarding this? Is there an agent in Sri Lanka for Motorla?

Why Is it that any video files from YouTube ( free installed)in my Motorola Quench are not opening. A message that says "Sorry this video cannot be played" how come? why put it there when you cannot watch it?

The one I bought freezes, it takes up to 25 minutes to open one text message sometimes. It froze one day when someone was trying to call and I couldn't pick it up because it couldn't load the answering page. . It's very slow to flip the screen sideways and freezes half way a lot. I would not recommend this phone.

Why I cant install the themes i just downloaded? It said that "could not install to this phone" Can someone tell me why? Does it need an internet connection to install themes?

Cannot connect to 3G network. When i select default mode or 2G, it catches the network fine. Also, unable to detect wifi networks. Please, if there is someone who can come up with a suggestion to fix this issue!

and get the latest CM7 rom.
And try the lowest possible government setting. That will help lengthen the battery's life.
About the latter, well you should check your apps, some of them might be stealing your money. Use logs to track what has been doing that...
