Design is simply wonderfull. But the menu SUCKS!!! can motorola stop using it???!!! It makes even the most elegant designs feel like cheap mp3 players!!

Would have been so much better if it had a 3.5 mm jack instead of a 3.5 mm jack. Are there adapters that exist? FM Radio not being present was shocking but is ok since this will be my secondary phone and my main phone has one. Oh well.

Was the first color screen mobiles good? NO

Was the first camera phones good? NO

Is the first recycled plastics phone good? NO

BUT

Like the first color screen and camera phones they were bad but a pioneer and led the way for better phones we see today. The W233 may just be the next pioneer!

Using recycled plastics is certainly a better idea than the bioplastics that Nokia and Samsung are using in their "environmentally friendly" phones.. these divert land from food production to plastics which is a bad thing, especially when you consider that there are warehouses full of plastic bottles looking for a market.

A better spec would be nicer though. Perhaps Motorola will extend this initiative to other devices..

waste of time motorola develop this phone, i think motorola would better developing linux based phone such android, openmoko, Qtopia, its cheaper than WM, more customizable, hundred of developer, and the best of all many people around this world would help us (via forums) if we got a problem THX

As much as I think phones made from recycled material is good, the term "Carbon neutral" is thrown around so much these days and is wrong almost every time it's said. Gotta be my most hated phrase of 2008!

Anyway, nice looking, good it supports a 2gb card. Could have done with FM though.

Recyclable body...Phew! I am relieved! Now my phone wouldn't harm the ecosystem. I know when it will break, may be next month, I know, throwing it away will not anger mother nature :-)

haha moto ... they use recycled plastic because they cannot afford to use real good quality plastic ... this phone deserves to be in the recycle bin hehe
