"The Sony Ericsson XPERIA Pureness is expected to launch in November for a rumored posh price of 699 euro (1000 dollars). "
Hahaha. I wouldn't pay more than 60 EUR for this crap.

yes , it is possible to produce an oled screen with transparent feature
but it is not ready to expose to the environment.
if that screen they are showing is capable to survive like other phone
would you think samsung will come out with it ??
samsung also have 32" oled tv , did they sell it ? NO
why? the product is only for showing only ! the technology still too weak for mass production .

This is purely technology demonstration...NOT a "work of art" as mentioned in the other article.
I would suggest whoever writing the article at GSMarena to do some research and add some reference as well while writing. The writer should know that technology for color transparent display is already available. Samsung already demonstrated their 4.3inch Transparent Color OLED dispaly sometime back. Adding touchscreen capabilities is not daydream anymore in my opinion.

It lacks a 3.5mm jack and MiniUSB charging port, which should be compulsory on any new device. The problem with companies like SE, is that they don't haves someone like Steve Jobs in the team to scream common sense into the ears of the design team. Even some of the more advanced SE devices due out soon lack 3.5mm headphone jacks, so people will still have to put up with those useless connectors that fall off or don't make contact properly. Hello SE, it's 2009, get with it!
