Rumored HTC Dragon photographed (maybe) - read the full textThere's quite some murmur going about town about the so-called HTC Dragon. Someone did manage to get their hands on a prime suspect - an unknown HTC phone running Android. What's clear from the spy shots is that the device is a GSM phone with 3G connectivity. The back shows a camera with an LED...

After reading some pots i realize that Android it does support multitouch funcionality on display and have 16M colors wich is great!
Just like HTC take windows mobile to a higher level due to HTC sense, now android is going to have it too a better smatphone than HTC hero it'll be great. But considering that some people say HTD HD2 is a litle big to fit in a pocket maybe doing it with a 4.0 display would be better. I like HTC design and style.

just like HTC made WinMo look slick, they're taking Android a level higher.

HTC Touch HD2, Dragon and Hero are all best in their class

:) Go ANDROID !!

If the spec is the same as HD2 but it uses 16M colors, fully support multi-touch it would be awesome. It would be even better if it uses 852x480 pixels resolution (16:9).

> In reply to FireDragon @ 2009-10-19 20:46 from tPF1 - click to readIf you know how apple web browser on iphone works then, well in symbian you must do one click and them follow a scroll to zoom in or zoom out, apple is different you are just at one action distance to zoom in or out your web page. i know that in nokia n900 you can do so with a circle to the right or to the left. but i still like more doing it with 2 fingers to zoom your screen.
Another thing you can do with multitouch is like you do in the apple iphone you can play games that have some buttons in the screen and some of them need you to have a button pressed all the time and another only when you need it. i hope you got my point.
I'll continue seeing more smathphone that runs on android :).
In Picture quality i wonder how HTC phones are.. are them like SE cybershoot or like Nokia that has a good quality in images in general.
I'm waiting for the Sony Ericsson Xperia X3 i hope they dont take too much to release it.

To be honest, can anyone tell me any practical use of multitouch function on a screen? I give a lot of thoughts about it in a practical work but I can't think of any use, perhaps my approach is not as higher as you guys so light me up. All I end up thinking and seeing it as zooming and rotating. Maybe gaming will do some but what else? What else other than show off?

Does Android 1.5,1.6,2.0 supports 16M colors or just 65K just like the problem with Windows Mobile.
I like Android OS i hope it does otherwise i'll be a litle dissapointed.

The pictured device (so called dragon) is definitely a fake as it features the buttons from the Motorola Droid aka Sholes!?

I think I see the firmware version is 1.5, not 2.0 (Eclair) as written in the news.

Forget the UI, HTC is sick, they make kickass handsets that walk all over the iPhone all day long.
