If they will release the phone on January, there will be no problems, but if they will release it on March for example...

Wow, it is as awesome as i hoped.

I hope they can get the camera right like they did on that satio. I mean 8mp is nice but the other 8mp sony phones had garbage sensors.

Also, a 4" screen is freakin insane. I love the 3.5" on my N97 and said if i ever get another phone it would have to be at least that much. I hope this isnt overkill to carry though, I like the way the BL40 did it, while it was long it was not that wide so it was ok.

Good job SE this is the first year in YEARS you are actually making some decent progress, now continue it into 2010.

> In reply to [deleted post]The only dissapointment is the 1GB internal memory, what is your problem?? Nokia for example does NOT have an 1GHZ CPU phone, or LG, or Motorola too! SO what's the problem? Tell me. The phone has 3.5 mm jack, the UI is very COOL, the screen is big. Believe me the phone is better than the Omnia HD, or the Nokia N97, or even the Samsung Omnia 2.

the interface is ugly... especially the blue oriented color..... and its stunningly enormous screen doesn't fit everyone...

I'm quoting another site here (sorry).

But from the sound of that, it seems like Sony Ericsson have the intention of updating/upgrading Rachael X10. The future of mobile devices is a growing software, with sufficient hardware.

These are the official specs from the sonyericsson site:

480 x 854 pixels WVGA
16,536 color TFT touchscreen \

It doesn't have 262k color display, you are lying, it has ONLY 16,536 colors! Correct your mistake!

It will either cost you a ton of $$$

Or it will be overshadowed by newer unreleased devices.

Same with any piece of tech, you'll have to evaluate what you need, and what you value. Put the money down, and never look at new devices ever again! Hah

> In reply to bummy @ 2009-11-03 09:27 from QDjH - click to readthat's why I stressed out that IF sony ericsson would be wise and upgrade this handset to v2.0 eclair, all of that issues: flash, BT, etc.. will be taking care of.

Then we all can say: iphone what??

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-11-03 09:07 from Isti - click to readiphone doesn't have flash support, xenon flash, nor does it have "BT file transfer" (are you for real?).

In comparison...
It doesn't have 8mp camera, auto-focus, camera flash, face detection, image and video stabilizer or smile detection.... And it doesn't have 4" display, Customizable UI, replaceable batteries, multitasking nor does it have proper Bluetooth.

Heck you can't even set a wallpaper!

Yet people will still dish out 500$+++ for it.

Q1 2010... Yikes! Knowing SE this will probably extend to the last day of of Q1 = End of March if there are no delays.

By the time this is released this device will already be old. I was hoping for some good news from SE but sadly dissapointed. I'm going for the N900 or Touch HD 2 now.

BTW, the phone is missing soo many things its impossible to list them all.. multitouch, xenon flash, flash support, the list goes on.. i wouldn't pay more than $500 USD for this...

The X10 is not bad, for me its good enough and I would like to own one. I'm sure that LG and Samsung are planning something of their own too that would compete with the X10. If SE doesn't watch out, Samsung or LG could release their own Android-powered devices before SE does. SE were the first to anounce their 12megapixel camera phone but Samsung beat them to releasing it first, the same could happen with the X10...

Still is the fastest android phone out there. 4" display, 8mp camera, and a magnificent interface.

Don't let the false rumors distract us from how amazing Rachael really is!!

After closely monitoring the coming out of this -the would be iphone killer- turn out to be big disappointment for me. Nothing spectacular in this high end mobile phone. The only left for me is the Nokia N900 I hope I would not be disappointed again. NOkia make it good. This certainly loss lots, lots of SE fanatics!
