It (opera S60 version) has no flashlite support built in unlike Nokia's webkit browser. The browsing is fast & web pages are rendered well but still no flash lite support means you tube videos cannot be watched. I found Skyfire a better alternative mobile browser but it is a bit slow at times ( I dont mean page rendering but the browser interface). Since this is a beta version, hope they make flash lite available for opera mobile v 10 final.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-11-05 11:29 from MfxYI just wanted to write a review based on using it, what's the matter you can't handle the truth?

The tabbed browsing works just like Safari on the iPhone except it doesn't show the number of tabs open by a number on the icon.

Also the zoom does not work anywhere near as well as the iPhone, the kinetic scrolling lacks control, links are hard to isolate and open, for example on this page the column on the left with all the phone manufacturers on it, double tapping it in Safari on the iPhone brings it to the width of the screen making it easy to scroll up and down and select a link, Opera Mobile on the N97 doesn't do that at all.

Stop complaining about a beta version, if you like the iphone's browser so much, get an iphone.

Was that hard?
No, but you just want to complain.

Opera mobile 10 is one hungry RAM eater. Not as good as 8.65 but it's good that it's compatible with OS9.4. UC WEB with it's brilliant downloader is my favourite browser.

i'm using it on an N97 now, it's no match for Safari on the iPhone, you can't watch YouTube, there's no autocorrect, holding down keys doesn't bring up alternatives.

The return key on the physical keyboard throws you out of the textbox instead of starting a new line.

Closing the slide puts it in portrait mode.

Engine (Presto 2.4) used in Opera 10 Mobile is actually not seen yet in desktop version which use Presto 2.3

N82: Works well. I love the copy/cut option as Nokia screwed up the copy/cut function on the N82. I also like saving pages, speed dial, search bar, thumbnail start page & Opera's usual password manager.

One dislike: OM10 commandeers the N82's text input and ONLY offers multi-tap. This alone negates the pleasure of the browser.

Aside from this, the browser has so much going on that it's nearly impossible for it to be user-friendly or easy to navigate. It's quite convoluted like BMW's iDrive, but I'm sure with time one can flow.

Opera needs to indicate that holding down your cursor will offer options such as how to open a link and saving photos.

If you people are so desperately wanting to talk about Apple, click Apple iphone and make some comments there. You can discuss about Opera Mobile 10 beta here.
