2. And good point. I find senseless to release this "new" devices when they specs are almost the same as phones released one or two years ago. Maybe the only difference is that now they released a slider one. :/

Anyway, I wouldn't call Nokia the almighty anymore.

- Why whenever the almighty brand releases such low end phones, they get reported / the publicity here? How about other brands? I'm sure other brands have been releasing a bunch of low end phones from time to time as well, why don't they get reported here?

- Why the almighty brand keeps on releasing so called "new models" when users of such low end phones probably don't know / care the differences between a 1100/1600/1616 etc...?

As I said. Not all the world wants a smartphone. Many people just need phones for their basic features.

Instead of buying one of those small usb mp3 players for just a little more you can pretty much get a cell with mircoSDHC support and basic cam.

its a nice move for nokia to have these low end mobiles it is affordable but very useful when it comes to mobile communication which is the purpose why we have 2g then 3g and so on and to connecting people around the globe without spending too much,we all know that majority of the people cannot afford to buy those high end mobiles

good move nokia .. after i buy 5800 or another phone in the Q1 of 2010 i was looking for a cheap phone ... i wil just relax and gosh if it had camera and bluetooth and mp3 it would beat iphone haha

nokia 6070 was the best phone i've ever had in low end nokia phones.. i miss it and i want the same brand new again, anyone lol...

nice nice... not for me though, I like high end stuff... but a lot of people want cell phones just to be basic, just for calling and texting, no fancy stuff aboard... and fot that purpose, these are just perfect...
