Nokia giving away 100 000 pedestrian navigation licences - read the full textWhat a lovely end of the business week: we’ve just found out that Nokia are giving away 100 000 pedestrian navigation licences. And what is even better, they are all free and valid for use in the whole world. It almost sounds too good to be true but it actually is. You can save yourself a few...

N900 is fine how it is
Nokia just needs to start making more maemo models and focus on maemo 5/6 and symbian^2
What do you need a 8 or 12 mp camera on a tablet for
Atleast an zenon flash, more RAM and better gps connection and WiFi aswell

Well nice to hear that, but it's probably fake,
it's because the network's is putting firewall's
on this requested SMS's and we get nothing on return.
I have try my ovi maps promotion, but i newer received any SMS at all.

thats nice of nokia but its a shame that they rather spend money on giving away free navigation licenses rather than using the money to develop their phones more, cos face it their phones r starting to age. none of them hv:
- a snapdragon processor
- 8mpx or more (besides n86, but this doesnt hv a v good flash)
- multitouch and so far no capacitive touchscreen (pls start shipping x6, but even that lacks multitouch)
- a higher resolution than 360 x 480 (hopefully n900 comes out soon and they anounce an 854x480 display shortly afterwards)

first three retards already here. bravo!! one was the 1st,another was the 2nd and the 3rd. what nation are you retrards??? i am just wondering. anyway, return to the subject: nokia maps or ovi maps, are very weak in details compared with sygic drive or route 66. this is very easy to see if you look at the map of a small town with nokia maps or another notorious gps software:nokia is drawing only a few lines, many without name, but with sygic you have very detailed map even of small towns

I will use my freedom of speech and shout one more time to Nokia: Nokia, fix the bugs in your firmware and let Symbian free of app signing ! (Insert your flash-mob for Symbian freedom here)
