I bought a samsung S8000XEIE5 from Germany last June when i was there on a course. Now the Camera,photo browser and messaging files are not working.It is also not reading my 4G memory card and i can not play my music. I can not send or read my messages. Wheneveri trying doing any of the above, this annoying message pops up "Unable to start application while file list is being updated. Try later" Please can any one help me bco i am desperate. Thank u.

I just updated to the S8000XEII2 firmware. Is this the newest one for the US or UK market? Since the update, I can no longer send or receive picture messages/MMS. My Carrier dont know what to do either. I've followed their manual network setup instructions, but still does not work. Anyone have an answer? Everything else works fine. I used the Gavity T network information which worked on my old firmware, but since the new one, it no longer works. Please help. I love the new firmware. HUGE improvements on the phone, but really want the MMS to work.

Buying a Samsung Jet is the biggest mistake i ve ever done.
I should have thought about, when there is such a huge help forum there's got to be smth wrong. You dont get any support from samsung, no apps or whatsoever, i hate i wish i could get another one for that crap, but its not worth a penny anymore and i dont have the money for a good one... I hate mysself

This phone is a shit. A few issues:
- once in about every 2 months it freezes. no way to switch off, only by removing the battery. when it starts again, it freezes again. the only way to get around it is to wait (20 min to few hours), and then the phone comes back into life.
- at random times, the alarm volume is set to 0, and the alarm sound is changed back to the default. it seems that this issues does not occur if one never switches off the phone.
- browsing the phone via the normal bluetooth interface of windows, all the folders (images, videos, etc) are shown to be empty.

Why did Samsung not put more effort on making a reliable phone, instead of making some stupid and useless 3D cubes, fancy widgets, and other stupidities?

Need your help on my samsung jet, Everyone had commented that the firmware upgrade is good but no link at all or procedure how to upgrade it, i bought this phone because they commercialized it as smarter than the smart phone, my phone is 16months old already...

My Jet S8000 has frozen, i did a reset but still can't access my messages and my files ( photos, videos and music) even the camera does not work.
What can i do?

Please do not purchase this mobile even if it is given for ONE Rupee. It is worth less mobile. Really SAMSUNG fooled every indian. I request SAMSUNG to kindly recall the product and iam sure this will uplift the image of the company and proove SAMSUNG is really a global company with lots of professionalism.
