my first impression was certainly that it's weird, so I can certainly understand you there. I personally don't like devices such as phones to look exactly like a shiny brick. Quite unattractive. I like some curves :)

Looks like HTC has picked up the Xperia X1 and built a new body around it.

Yes I'm sure a keyboard is completely useless...People don't every type these days...someone would much rather use a number key layout only with a t9 system for typing... [/sarcasm]

Someone is probably just an envious iPhone user...

The BIGGEST design flaw in this phone IS the Tak Call/End Call Buttons... They are very small and placed in between two buttons meaning that u will have to use your fingertip to answer or hang up the call.

I wonder why HTC would not think about this? People who buy windows mobile phones or smartphones buy them for functionality and usability, not looks and designs (like LG chocolate or whatever). Get your act together, some evident carelessness in the designing derpartment

I am not understanding why are they going the Nokia way. They need to be different and need to target android based products. I am keen to know the memory in built on this device. Thanks. Vishal.

I dont understand the point of this device being 'touch-screen' if there's a number-keypad AND the QWERTY keyboard already existing. Seems like HTC is 'over-doing' it.

What a bunch of 1di0tic cOmplainers!!
When the company come up with similar models and design (like Nokia or Samsung), people complain left and right.
Now, HTC is coming up with just a little different design, still complaining!
Geez! Get a life, people! Just stop bashing and try coming up with new 'better' design! You think you can do better!?

Thanks Sina for posting the full spec. I guess most of the people that rave about the new HTC Diamond and Touch Pro have not been as frustrated as me. I need full quad band AND UMTS as a global business traveller....they can do it in this phone but not the Diamond or Touch Pro....HTC get your act together and maybe us global business travellers may have something to consider from HTC over Blaberry or Nokia E71...please make the Diamond and Touch Pro quand band and dual band UMTS asap.
