just an update, I read the post about its 240×432 display and thought that was alright, considering it has a pretty good look and price, I just got a friend ordering for me on amazon china. It costed at 1300 CNY (188 US dollars or 148 Euro), it is already being sold everywhere in China

such a beautiful flip, it does remind you of the J-style flip alot. I've check amazon China's price on this, too good to miss out on my trip soon to China, i am glad that Sharp also released its flip phones to China, though Sharp charges its tri bands flip phones at a much higher price

The Only trouble buying a Chinese mobile there will be many copies about so people will not realise the phone they have bought is a copy an not the Genuine phone ,they have spoilt Ebay in the Usa because of the copies ,so something better be done before they are released in the U.K

> In reply to bummy @ 2008-12-02 22:30 from jDvDI would guess this is primarily due to this phone being dual band. For the US it would have to be at least tri if not quad band. I do agree with the fact that we should have more phones like this.

Trying to cover up your own 'track' of being 'first', eh...?
Truly embarrassing... ;-p
Additional comment on the phone:
It may look nice on the outside, but the inside also matter...
(keypad, screen, etc) Anybody has the picture of the inside?
