Four new Nokia phones - big fish at the shores of the US - read the full textNokia have been holding out - they have four new devices headed to the US and they are not rebrandings of old devices. This is certainly uncommon, the US getting a GSM Nokia phone before Europe does. Well, we've seen stranger things happen in the past, so why not. The all four spanking new Nokia...

And i agree with the guy in the long name, nokia rules anyway.

nokia folding design seems like MOTOKRZR. Why does nokia 'remake' KRZR?

> In reply to [deleted post]Ummm... Even if you combine features of all Nokia phones, they still won't be able to come up with "the ultimate" phone. They don't even have a decent touch screen phone (music express is horrible). N97? Meh~ too late to the market.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-05-28 06:58 from M3gi - click to readWhat are those terms you just said.. "peaseants", "contries"? are you educated enough to misspell such an easy word.

Iphone is not an ultimate phone in my opinion.. every phone has their own share of flaws..

No mobile company dictates what the consumer will be using. It is the consumer who dictates what feature he would want the phone he/she will be acquiring to have.

And nokia does a great job in providing its consumers a wider range of choices for their mobile needs.

What's the use of 8-12 megapixel cameras on phones, if you have DSLR cameras around. No photography enthusiast would be happy shooting photos using just a phone for that matter. I agree with one user here who said that its not about the megapixels. A 2 megapixel camera with far better lens can kill an 8 megapixel with crappy lens.

Lastly, I would like to quote your statement: "Nokia poor peasants for poor countries".. a highly discriminatory remark.. You see I know a lot of BIG people, when i say BIG, those who are rich.. CEO's of large companies and the likes, and not all of them use the top of the line phones.. When asked why? They just say "As far as sms and calls are concerned, this phone satisfies my daily needs".. its not about the trend, but rather its about the consumers needs.

Enough said. :)

Nokia is for poor peaseants in poor contries that is all.

In my honest opinion, NOKIA is the #1 mobile manufacturer not because they create/invent/produce the most innovative phones to date, but rather they currently hold the widest selection of phones for different people.

Every individual has their own needs when it comes to phones, whether it be the features or the budget. Nokia flags a wider range of choices for various walks of life.. they have the E-Series(for the business oriented), the N-Series(for people looking for specific features), the Xpress Music series (for the music-oriented), they also have phones for sports enthusiast (5500 sport). Moreover, depending on the consumers budget, they have a phone for every price range.

From reading the comments here, i noticed that some people are nagging about the features of the phones. The problem is people are always seeking for the ultimate phone: looking for 8mp's, wifi, and such.. but let me point out that not all individuals need those around. Some use their phone for voice and sms only. Innov8, Omnia HD, are good phones no doubt.. but they belong to the high-ends when it comes to price and features. It is safe to say that you get the features you want for what you pay for.

If you like omnia,innov8, or iphone then go buy it.. why not? as long as you can afford it and its features satisfy you. These set of phones from nokia were designed for a specific market segment, and when you're not a part of it, there is no need to spout non-sense remarks.

It is pathetic to compare these phones to the high-end phones out there. If they are of the same price range, then you're free to criticize, but they aren't, right?

Nokia can produce the best phone if they want to, like combining all the flagship features they have in their sleeves into one mobile monster, but they chose not to. why? because of Marketing Strategy. Nokia knows that their low-end to mid-end phones produce for income than their high-end ones. The fact is not everyone can afford the high-ends, that's why their focusing more on low to mid-end ones.

As a conclusion, if you have the money then go buy the high-ends regardless of the brand and be happy with it. Its non-sense to compare the high-ends to mid or low-ends because they're not of the same price range.

Hope that clears out all the fuss.

Cmon people!!! These are fakes, they are just concepts some geek made, look at that music phone, the silver one, it looks just like a Moto Razr, take a look at the center piece of the folding system, it looks just like the one on the moto. They are all CG made, conceptually made, the names don't match de nokia criteria, neither the style. They are onfli afficionate ideas, and will never get into production.
