Ever wondered why the iPhone is only available on O2 in the UK?

Once the sound recording is fixed - in two weeks - it will be hard o argue that this phone is not the best on market today.
It is unfortunate that no similar phones expected soon!
Motorola is in sleep.
Nokia is too slow and holds back technology
SE is in financial trouble and incompetent
LG needs balls to do better job
Apple can not make an overall good phone - too full of itself and never finish the job.
HTC needs better quality assurance
I am surpriced that Samsung had the will to release this phone.
Others would probably waited for 6-12 months.

nice move Sammy! I've been wanting to get this phone, been watching it for at least 2 months now but unfortunately until now I still don't know if the 3G will work here in the United States. The phone supports tri-band 3G (900/1900/2100mhz) and AT&T uses 850/1900.
Does anybody know if there will be a NAM version of this phone? By the way, just for everyone to know Nokia will also be releasing a firmware update for the N97 tomorrow.

Now, Samsung has been improving a lot..I am quite happy that Samsung heard about the issue of the sound recording..If I am not the user of this stuff, but a friend of mine has it. He always complained about the sound, some of the times that sound didn't work properly.
But at this moment, Samsung has upgraded the lackness of this smartphone..I think this series will be the best...

I bought the Omnia HD expecting more.
I always bought Nokias, once Sony Ericsson and my last phone was an Iphone. Now I bought Samsung. Its very hard to switch back to Symbian phones after you get used to Iphone but in my opnion(Idont know why) Samsung symbian phones are easier to use than on Nokias weird but true. Anyway, I still prefer Iphone OS by far.
When I started using the Omnia I didnt like the web browser...some will think its a good browser but like I said before: I was/Im so used to Iphone Safaris that any mobile browser look like s**t to me now.
The audio is SO but SO bad in ALL the ways. The quality of the sound during calls are horrible too. I have to hang up and recall my friends more than once to try to fix the bad quality of the voice. makes your voice sound "eletric". The audio quality on video is AMAZINGLY HORRIBLE. Check it out my video that I shot on O2 Arena.
