can you elaborate the problems you encounter for all to share. Hopefully Nokia can see these problems and will be more responsible when launching their future products.
thanks
Tira

just look at HTC Hero (android os), you will see how much HTC has gone to developed smartphones for people.
You will be wow! by the the UI and whole experience. I think Nokia is playing catch up now. Nokia fans, don't be bias... I wish nokia well too.

I am just amazed by the number of problems, errors in the n97 phone. Shouldn't Nokia perform a very comprehensive UAT (user acceptance test) internally and externally before releasing/launching the phone to the market? Or we are just guinea pig as the pioneer owners of n97 to help nokia test their phones? I wonder.
Come on Nokia, surely this is not acceptable right!?

such a waste, i am a NOKIA fan but this is nothing for a flagship
already got N85 so N86 isn't an upgrede.
haven had anything new since my N95 8GB.
great so now we wait a year for the next Flagship with the real specs.
Just cause it has a Qwerty and touch screen don mean its the Ultimate phone
don care about MPs but video and WIMAX and better battery has to be next

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-07-01 23:59 from q{Xw - click to readNokia marketing is not well informed and refuse to change for the enjoyment of the customer. Considering the Philippines as an Asian country. Yet Nokia Marketing still limit themselves by not accepting and delaying customer plea. Considering that Philippines is also a big market also. Philippines have many new Chinese Immigrant that comes from Mainland China. Yet they dont sell Nokia phone with Chinese interface capability. Its just a matter of shipping some of their phone sold Taiwan, HongKong and China. But upto this present the Marketing department still refused to make necessary adjustment.

i agree, nokia should get things at least mostly right before releasing a major flagship...what an embarrasing letdown to have to keep making minor corrections here and there when it's supposed hit the iphone head on. i'm no iphone user or apple-fanboy, but at least their phones are at least 95% stable with what it has when released

Some of you do realise that Nokia has more than likely been working on this since launch of the N97 don't you !? You'd be a foll to think otherwise and besides do you really think that this firmware would be out within the first month if they were not already working on most of it.

> In reply to simon @ 2009-07-01 17:59 from mx2k - click to readHi, if three just look at it and its within an elf then you would be fine but technically they may know that you've changed your code, it can be checked online and will also regsiter when they try to software, if your lucky they will not worry about it and fix it, but if you tried to get it repaired because you had a newer version of software than whats available that would void your warranty as you changed the product code

My phone is working sweet after the upgrade.
I think people complain because they have nothing better to do!
